I am not sure how old my mother was in this picture. She died of lung cancer when I was 17 (a long time ago). I truly regret not being able to get to know her as an adult when I really could have appreciated the woman she was. I do know that she loved me deeply.

Wow, you all have such beautiful lady-like mothers. This thread kinda made me misty eyed. I really love looking at all the vintage photographs. It makes me wish I could have been around at that time. You should all be so proud of your beautiful mothers and handsome fathers!

Elph, Besty and Deet...trust me, your mothers may be in the hospital but they feel fortunate and content knowing they have YOU for sons. I'm not just saying that as your friend...I'm saying it as a mother.
