dude, I opened this thread and was getting ready to write a long, heartfelt response to the OP's situation, but now I'm all tense.

for what it's worth - I'm sorry about your dog. I understand how hard it is to have sick pets, and wish you the best.

Let's see. God didn't lift a finger during the Holocaust. And She's not very involved in straightening out the mess in the Middle East.

Do you think maybe it's because people keep distracting Her with stuff like this and keeping Kail from getting voted out of the Big Brother House?

Isn't there a Pray For Critters board somewhere? Perhaps starting one can be your next pet project. Maybe you can get some corporate sponsorship to kick it off. And yes, I believe you do preach in your post. Just this entry, "It is like ... we are all animals. So, who is to say which species has a greater right to live? Is morally and ethically superior?" is enough to make me gag. Your concept of what constitute morals and ethics is nothing but passing judgment on all and equating everything to white or black with no shades of gray. If it wasn't for superior humans Benji wouldn't be sucking that oxygen. Believing that animals are capable of morals and ethics is to me more than a little messed up. It's not like animals can willing make a decision not to shop at WalMart or Borders.

Plus, I agree with many that your signature is too long. When I see signatures that long I wonder if someone is trying to compensate for something, or are they just oblivious and uncaring how obnoxious a trait it is for all to repeatedly see, or do they just think they're superior to others and need their post be the longest on the board. Where's the morality for justifying it?

while it is great to be passionate about something, you took it to the extreme.
And most of us razzed you about it.
There is a time when you need to stop shoving stuff down peoples throat, and you need to learn when that is.

I do not know what to believe and what not to believe when you post., but I do know this......you said:

and that is just pure crap. YOU and YOUR family made a commitment to care for that dog. It IS your moral and ethical duty to make sure that animal is not in pain, and has a good quality of life.
Please don't give me this right to life crap.

If your dog is in pain, and you are keeping it alive for your feelings, then you should never be allowed to own an animal again.

If your story is true, I hope the dog recovers.

But what is REALLY sad, is I have to say "if your story is true".....it may not be the people here who hassle you that is the problem, it may be that by what you've posted in the past, your credibility has flown out the window.

Maybe you need to look inside.

And, I, for one, do NOT miss you telling me what type of toilet paper to use.

Speaking of Big Brother, this reminds me of that cry-baby, Amber, who said she loves her dog AS MUCH as she loves her daughter. I hope she never has to face a "Sophie's Choice". You just know she would chose the dog.

TMM only asked for some prayers for his dog. It's obvious some of you don't like him so why not just skip his posts and leave him alone? It doesn't warrant all the nasty comments and attacks. We've all heard about some of your personal problems with your cats, friends being shot, etc and no one attacked you folks. Enough already.

Dear, I have a problem with anyone who comes to a board consisting of hundreds of strangers asking for prayers for a pet, a friend's friend, etc. I don't know these people. I don't dislike TMM, don't even know who he/she is.

If you believe in the power of prayer why don't you just end each prayer session with a "Oh, and please make all the sick pets and sick real people better." That ought to cover it and that way you don't have to come here and start a new thread every time you need a prayer circle. Or does God only take specific requests?
