BWW is one of the most supportive groups I know--so I know I can count on you all for this.
My friend had an accident on Saturday and is in critical condition. He has lots of people who love him, including myself, and it would be a tragedy for anything worse to happen. Please keep my friend Matt in your prayers/thoughts. Thank you all.

Car accidents freak me out, especially getting in one lately so I pray for all those who even step foot in the car and for whatever may happen in the time following..
That's terrible...I'm sending the good vibes, too.

Could someone explain this to me? Maybe its because im from the UK and we just dont go in for this type of group sentimentality, but I dont get the point of posting this kind of message. What on earth is it going to achieve? Praying is a waste of time before you even start, but getting a bunch of people whom you do not know to pray for someone they do not know who happens to be your friend and not theirs...I just dont get it.
This by no means an attack, i just dont understand! Transatlantic divide perhaps. Could someone explain?

lifeisacabaret,
When someone YOU care about is hurt/sick you'll understand. The power of all of our prayers, in whatever fashion, does make a difference. Not just for Park's friend but for Park too.
And while I may not know Park personally, I know him from this board, and I am going to send a A LOT of positive energy in his direction.
Parks - You and you friend are absolutely in my prayers.
