Anybody planning to watch?
Am thrilled that Neil Patrick Harris is hosting, and am looking forward to his musical number.
I expect Mad Men to walk away with an award... which will be well deserved.
I wonder if Amazing Race will be named best Reality Series again? Might be time for another show to win the award.
Curious to see what they do with the show to try to capture and retain an audience!
I'm looking forward to it.

I've got a feeling this'll be another snoozer. Lots of repeat winners.
I kinda hope Christina Applegate beats Tina Fey for Best Actress in a Comedy Series.

Aint It Cool just reported that it has leaked that 30 ROCK and MAD MAN will take top prizes.
Also, Jane Krakowski apparently is picking up the first award of the evening for Best Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series. I hope this is true!

Sara Ramirez didn't get a nod, so boo!
Supporting Actress in a drama is going to be a tough category.
SUPPORTING ACTRESS IN A DRAMA SERIES
Rose Byrne, Damages
Hope Davis, In Treatment
Cherry Jones, 24
Sandra Oh, Grey?s Anatomy
Dianne Wiest, In Treatment
Chandra Wilson, Grey?s Anatomy
(I really don't care about any of that, I just wanted to post that gif.)

Geez, spoiler alert much?
The opposite of creation isn't war, it's stagnation.

Posted: 9/20/09 at 3:49pmI agree about Sara Ramirez. Thank goodness Katherine Heigl didn't get one either though.
re: Primetime Emmy Awards tonight...#16
Posted: 9/20/09 at 4:00pmI am a Heigl fan now. She adopted a special needs baby. She's on my good list until she does something stupid again.

Posted: 9/20/09 at 4:09pmNo offense to Ain't it Cool, but neither of their pieces of "exclusive information" is going out on any kind of limb. I think both are favored in their categories to begin with. I'm skeptical of their information, but wouldn't be the least bit shocked if it were true.

Posted: 9/20/09 at 4:30pmI'll be rooting for NPH, Jim Parsons, Elaine Stritch, and Drew Barrymore.

Nevermind, I found the AICN article...where does it say anything about Krakowski?
I hope she wins, she deserves it.

I always look forward to the Emmy Awards telecast! I'll be rooting for Mad Men, Grey Gardens and Jim Parsons.
JerseyGirl2...Hope Davis was excellent in In Treatment (when isn't she excellent?), but I'm surprised Allison Pill wasn't recognized with a nomination. The first time I saw her work on the show, I knew I had to stick around for the whole season.
