That interviewer was a ditz.

She came out of the gate antagonistic, trying to spin the interview.

I'd expect more from a CNN "journalist."

Joan should have kept her cool and raked her across the coals with a couple of zingers.

Again...I contest and remain convinced that it was all premeditated. Joan planned on finding a reason to pull a "Diva" move and storm off before the interview even started. It wouldn't have mattered what the interviewer asked her. IT WAS STAGED. DIARY OF A MAD DIVA. She was a mad Diva. Get it?

Some of the comedians I love many people think are the epitome of lame.

And I love me some good offensive humor, but only when it's pointed and has something to say.

I just think Joan is way beyond her sell-by date.

But if she makes people laugh then that's what counts.

In the past hour, I've heard 3 shows promote Joan's appearance later this week - The View, The Talk and Letterman. She knew she had these bookings (and I'm sure, several others) lined up. It gives her something to talk (and joke) about while promoting the hell out of her book. Not to mention all of the free air time she's getting today. I get it if you don't find her brand of humor funny. Or if she, personally, rubs you the wrong way. But for those of us who admire and respect this incredibly hard working, resilient and talented lady, and still find her to be funny, I say good for her for making her third act so relevant, memorable and entertaining!
