Dame Ednas shtick is tired and always the same. The fact that so many of you run so hot or cold on Joan is another reason why she is so succesful and so many other comedians look up to her.

I don't expect every joke to work, nor do I expect every thing a comedian says to be a pearl, but this is very desperate, junior high-level stuff.

Some of you seem to have little insight into show business. If you think Joan looked desperate in her documentary, then welcome to the life of any working entertainer. Its always about the next gig and the older you get the harder it gets. Isn't Lisa Rinna dancing in Depends on TV right now. It's a tough business.
Rivers is a legend and the majority of comedians are thin skinned. I've read many of their bios and they all come from deeply insecure places-most are depressives who tend to cry a lot. It doesn't surprise.
I can't jump on this bashing of Rivers. She has done far too much and has an incredible work ethic. I think that's admirable.

She was using this interview for a PR stunt. It is quite obvious. Both this and her recent Michelle is a Tranny comment. It is plotted and contrived. Look, it has her name all over the inter web just as her book is coming out!

I don't think Joan has any tear ducts left. If she does, they've probably been pullled up somewhere on the top of her head.
