I wasn't real excited by this challenge. Kinda boring. I thought everybody's design was mostly decent. I'm so glad that Victorya went home. I agree that it looked like she took an existing piece and then added a skirt and a belt.
I was pleasantly surprised by Ricky this week. It doesn't make me like him a whole lot more, but at least he finally put something decent down the runway.
The best part of tonight's show was the commentary and bickering. They're all calling out Christian's immaturity. I still like Christian and find him humorous most of the time, but he is obnoxious lots of the time. Maybe he's intimidated by the fact that he's so young and doesn't have the amount of experience as many of the others do. Once again, though, Chris cracks me up. My favorite part was when he said he so enjoys youth and then rolled his eyes. Nice!
I loved Sweet P's dress, although she wouldn't have made it if Tim hadn't steered her away from the wedding gown she started. I give her credit for coming up with that dress with less time left to do it! Really nice looking garment.

Heidi's "What's Up With You?" was perfect. I had to keep rewinding because it was so funny.
I thought Rami's dress was the best, but Ricky and Sweet P. had some great looks as well. I didn't get the love for Christian's look.
I liked Rami's dress the best. I can't believe Ricky won and has immunity. We are stuck with him for at least 2 more weeks. Christian was definitely back to his bratty self. Sweet P owes Tim big time or she would have been in the bottom 3. Victoria was boring, so I am glad she is gone. I think she jumped on the bandwagon because they loved Jilian's coat so much last week. Thank heavens Jilian is still in it; she is one of my favorites. I am glad Chris is still in too, his comments always make me smile.
I thought they were done with immunity this week. hmm.
I'm glad Victorya is gone. Chris's wasn't his best. Ricky's looked better that Chris's but it still wasn't brilliant. not sure how he stayed this long. Sweet P.'s was brilliant. Christian's looked brilliant. great design and the jeans I would totally wear.
Ricky does not have immunity. Heidi mentioned before runway that immunity will not be given to the winner.

Rami is so Right Said Fred.
I thought his outfit was the best, but it was very inventive of Christian to use the arms and cuffs of a jacket as the bottom half of his jeans. His outfit looked great, but it screamed slutty Sandy at the end of Grease.
Ricky, you WON and you still have to cry?
The one thing I think that needs to be taken into account is the fact that they're selling the dress on 501.com or whatever. Ricky's dress is utterly wearable and had at it's centerpiece the button flies that are SO 501. Rami and Christian's outfits were certainly more fashion-forward. And Sweet P's was a delight. But Ricky's really was quite lovely and easily marketable as the 501 brand. Not that I like the Puerto Rican Norma Shearer. But I don't disagree with his win at all.
And the more I see Christian, the more I love him. He's just TV heaven!

That's true. Women of all sizes (and heights) wear Levi's. Very few women can pull off the skinny jean look Christian put together...you'd really have to be tall and thin for it to look good on you.
When Heidi said, 'I know a lot of women who'd love those jeans,' I turned to my man and said, 'Yeah...skinny b*tches!'
When Ricky started crying after he won...I heard you all moan in unison.
I didnt love it...or anyone's this week, tho Rami's use of zippers was cool...okay, I typed Rami and zipper...anyone, anyone?!
I hope that VyktyryA is able to buy a vowel with her new found fame.
I am happy Little Ricky finally pulled one off. I was beginning to feel sorry for him. He needed the boost. He wouldn't be there if he didn't have talent, but he just has not been bringing it.
I don't think his was the best this week, but I am happy for him. I did love his use of the buttons, though.
I'm glad Ricky finally won a challenge. To be honest, I didn't think any of the outfits were awful though. So far, I like this season of PR the best.
I didn't think anything was terrible last night, but yeah, Victorya didn't do anything, it seemed.
But, to be honest, I didn't LOVE anything either.
To be fair, Ricky's was not bad at all. But seriously, you cry when you're happy; you cry when you're sad...ughhh...enough.
Jeffrey used zippers as trim on his final runway garment last season, but I think Rami better executed the idea - or it was just that the gold zippers looked better against the dark jean, rather than yellow zipper on green and white fabric.
I wonder why the sudden retrospect on Rami and Sweet P. Does this mean they will be in the final?
All this attention on Ricky is making me sick. I knew he was going to win based on the editing early on in the show, but I agree - if you look at his body of work he hasn't delivered. He makes one good outfit and he's jesus.
I can understand why the other designers are frustrated with him still on the show.
Thank god there is no immunity.
Frankly, I don't want to see his collection. He just gets on my nerves. Not even Vincent (season 3) annoyed me as much.
All things said, Congrats to Ricky. Now go cry into your 3-sizes-too-small hat.
Not that I disagree with the judging last night, but sometimes certain decisions make me wonder. What I do question though is, Vyctorya (did I spell that right?). Her designs were consistently good, yet she was eliminated with one bad outfit. Whereas Ricky was consistently rated poorly, but he's still there. It kind of reminds me of the season where another designer (blonde girl whose name escapes me) had the same thing happen to her (done-in by one bad outfit).
it also makes me wonder about Sweet P. If TIm hadn't nixed the denim wedding gown idea (OY VEY), where would she be now?

Ricky didn't cry after winning which I thought was amusing. I expected copious amounts of tears, but nothing.
Sweet P. most likely would not have gone because Victoria's look was awful, boring, and it looked like she did nothing. Sweet P. is the only smart one who took Tim's advice. Have these contestants not seen the show? Ignoring Tim is a sure way to be out.
I think Ricky has cried a total of 8 times in the show.
Truly astounding.
I haven't seen the episode yet (DVR), but how could Ricky get THIS close to Bryant Park?! Please take your tears and leave. Please.
And am I the only one who loved TEAM FIERCE?
"If I was a diva, my name would be Ferosh!"
Ricky needs to go.
I worry about Sweet Pea getting to Bryant Park. She's talented but she can't function without an editor. What will she produce on her own?
I imagine the guest judge gets the final say on which outfit she'll be selling, and she probably thought Ricky's was the most commercially viable. It is sort of reprehensible that someone who is consistently at least a decent designer got booted off instead of someone who is consistently terrible, but we're at that point in the show where you just have to be one of the best every week to keep making it through.

The seaming didn't look like that on the one Ricky made, did it?
I got a chance to watch the episode!
I'm really happy with the winner and looser. As inventive as Christian's pants were, why didn't the judges mention that we have seen the same jacket from him every week? He always does some tight jacket cut at the waist with a high collar, a funky front, and puffed sleves.
I like how they added a zipper, which means the buttons in the front don't work.
Ricky didn't have a zipper in the back, did he?
