join my voice to the choir. Totally shocked that Chris went instead of Ricky - he's consistently underperformed.

I want to kick Ricky in the face.

I really dislike the judges sometimes.

Actually, I thought it was clear that Jillian's team produced a fashion week level mini-collection that the others simply did not. The styling, the incorporation of all three design updates (without actually seeming like the referenced outdated designs) and the cohesion were utterly fantastic.

Christian's designs were modern and intriguing...but I didn't think they were either as cohesive or as referrential to outdated designs as the other collection.

As for who was auf'd, I was pretty certain it was going to be Chris (not that I necessarily agreed with that). It was clear that they liked the overall concept of Ricky's line, as well as the execution of some of the garments. It was clear that the judges thought Chris failed on the two objectives posed to them: make it cohesive and modern. And that jacket? Oy.

Ricky IS awful but I think Chris lost because he's so mired in the passe/costumey mode. That jacket was truly horrible and I agree that it did look like it was still on the hanger!

Jillian's team produced a lovely colection - cute clothes. It was no questions they'd be the winning team.

I was a bit surprised about Ricky staying - but Chris's stuff all along has had that that 80s diva look going on. That jacket was hideous. I think another reason Ricky got to stay is that he's a bit drama queen (not that Chris isn't, but Ricky's a little more wound up) and probably makes for good TV.

So I'm watching my daily two hours of Bravo, and I see a commercial for next week's Runway. The announcer-y person said, and I quote, "For one of the designers, one of their journey's is cut short." Of course, they showed Jack crying.

Anyone know if he was kicked off or if he chose to leave?

I don't think he gets kicked off. I think it's more of a health issue.

I was bummed when Chris got the boot - I worked with him as a stitcher on a show. He is such a great guy.

That's my guess too. They've slowly been introducing us to Jack and I think that's why.

I agree with all the other post, that Chris should have stayed. Ricky as stated was in the bottom 3 most of the time. I don't think Ricky will be around much longer.

The dress that Chris designed just screamed Crystal Carrington. Never the less, I don't think he should have been eliminated in favor of Ricky, whose designs have been poorly executed.

Not to be a c*nt, Ida, but I believe her name is Krystle. Why I know that when the series ended a year after my birth is anyone's guess.

ugh, elisa should be out - her dress was about as awful as the first one she made (pooing fabric). or send chris home again, jeez was he dressing one of the apache dancers from "Joseph..." steven had problems, but well UGH! he should have stuck around.

and i know whatever jack had wasn't really funny, but come on when his lip was all swollen he kinda looked like dr. zaius from "planet of the apes" dontcha think?

It was fun how it put Tim in a "real person" light. Loved it!

I don't know how much previous performance counts, or if one bad moment can be your demise. I was glad to see Chris back because he should not have gone last week, but his outfit was hideous. Steven had major issues, but it was the first time he was in the bottom two.
