I think void was talking to the SammyGal.
Yeah, I would protest, but I'm nowhere near New York, and it won't make any difference. I mean, if I stand out in the streets and yell, "You're horrible, I don't want to see any of you in public office," Kerry isn't going to say, "Oh, okay, I'm sorry. I won't run for President."

Ya, I was gonna go to Boston, I mean, I myself would have made Kerry say "Sorry guys, pick someone else."
Because that always happens.
I have a question and I apologize in advanced if this has already been discussed, but why are the ticket sales plumetting during the convention. Did they tell other republicans to not go see the shows?

Yes, but if done wrong, it looks really stupid.
And makes a cause look that much worse.
But whatever helps you sleep at night.

Possible reasons for B'way ticket sales to fall this week are:
1. Conventioneers have to be at the convention hall beginning Monday night, no fun allowed for those Republicans
2. New Yorkers are staying home to avoid the dramatics surrounding the convention
3. Suburbanites are staying home to avoid the traffic into the city
4. Non-convention tourists are staying away because the Republicans took all the hotel rooms where any non-conventioneer tourist would feel comforable
haha how about another naked protest?
Naked protests are good.
On a side note - are log cabin republicans still supporting Bush? If they are - how pathetic.
Then we could see "Idina's Boobs"

" If they are - how pathetic. "
At least one is. I'm pathetic. Live with it.

That's sorta like an African American voting for David Duke. But, hey--whatever, right?
Have you read the platform? Going against not only gay marriages but any sort of recognition of civil unions.
Yep you're pathetic, I'll live with it, but you're still pathetic.

Has my signature ever implied otherwise?
You can hate me now. It's okay.
And Marc, I don't want to go into the whole thing again, but...okay, I'm not going to write anything long- just one sentence- I don't vote on ONE issue only. Have a good night.

Well, if you don't mind me asking, do you share Bush's positions on the issues? Updated On: 8/29/04 at 12:14 AM

On the gay issue, no. On the 'border control' issue, no.
On many others, yes. He is not the best president ever but to me, he's better than Kerry. In numerous ways.
Yes, I would like to know how a homosexual, bisexual, or transgendered person could vote for Bush.

I've actually met a few 'out' gay men, in relationships, who are Republicans. Quite a rarity, but they're out there.
Yes, there are over a million of them. I am asking how any of them could vote for him at this point--between the Amendment and the platform.
