Well, no - since I had already quit. My boss bitched me out when I went back the next week to surrender my key, lol

Yet.
It's a small world, Miss Chung. With a very long memory.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

Well, I have heard tell of employers stalking down the cyber offender and killing their pets. Some even try to get in good with the family and turn them against the pre-employee.
You just never know.
And what is the proper protocol re: being fired via e-mail.
hot or not?

lol no, it wasnt my nanny job. I wouldn't do that to the cool show folk.
And to be fair, I am usually Miss Professional - I would never even consider quitting via email, but it was a strange situation. And I spoke with the ppl on the phone and in person afterward, so it wasnt as though I just disappeared off the face of the earth.

RobbO, your avatar scares the hell out of me. I'm so used to your hot shirtless man of the week.

I actually quit by email, though it wasn't my intention. I was offered the position in Jersey and came to visit to see if it was something I wanted. My boss and coworkers knew that I was coming up and why. On the evening that I took the position I sent a quick email to the boss. I let her know that I had decided to take it and that I would do whatever she needed for the next 35 days to help fill my position, but we would discuss it further when I was back. She responded with, "Well, I guess that's that. Good luck to you in the future." Now, you must understand, this job was a group of people that traveled together, living in hotels for 10 months out of the year. We were all like family. I didn't even get a "sorry you are leaving" after 7 years. So, we didn't discuss it further. I didn't seek and train a replacement. I worked three more weeks and then requested my last two as my vacation time. The people who worked with and for me threw me a party, but the higher up folks never said a word. It's amazing how quickly they turn on you when it's time to move on. In retrospect, I am glad I sent the email. It showed me what she and those above her are made of.
Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!

"...have there been any ramifications?"
Just the loss of an opportunity to grow bigger balls, which always come in handy later in life. Though some days I do fantasize about just not showing up one morning, with no contact at all. It would give me great satisfaction to have them forever wonder what happened to me.
