Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

My fave Liz anecdotes . . .

When pushed as to why she married so much, she replied, "Because I don't believe in pre-marital sex!"

When asked what she's most proud of in her illustrious career, she replied, "I was the first woman to say 'F*CK!' in a major movie!" (which is true - WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF)

She was, as they used to say (with complete affection,) a 'great broad' - and very Grand Dame, indeed.

She was the perfect combination of completely stratospheric fantastical illusion, and down-to-earth realism.

One of the very few who truly earned her 'gay icon' status.

I am thankful for her having been, and will miss knowing that she is still around defying the odds.

So sad!! I've loved her since childhood.

In 1982, some friends and I came up to NYC to see "Joseph....".

We were either standing room or in the balcony and when it was over, during the ovation for Laurie Beechman, it was clear that someone important was getting ready to leave the front of the orchestra. We rushed down to stand in the back of the house and she walked by with her security. They had to push people aside and noone said a thing, except gasps. For some reason, as she passed us I asked "Did you like the play?!" and she turned to me and gave me a big girly smile and said " I loved it!"

I'll never forget that and how beautiful she was and the color of her eyes in person...magic.

Q - I though the first intance of 'f*ck' in a movie was "M*A*S*H" in 1970, and the line in Virigina Woolf was 'screw you' or 'goddamn' or something a like that...

She's been through so much pain in the past several years, so peace to a wonderful lady. Not too many of the truly big stars left. Bacall is just about the last one.

I got to see her onstage with Richard Burton in "Private Lives", right before he passed away. Not the best show but I was watching two already legends live. May she rest in peace.

She is one of the last of the glamorous Hollywood stars. She takes an era of Hollywood with her that we will never see again.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Set aside the 8 marriages to 7 men, the two Oscars, the iconic film roles, the 70 years in the public eye, the 'terrible beauty' of Dame Elizabeth and everything else of her well-documented celebrity.

Elizabeth Taylor was the first major American celebrity of note to say, "Why aren't we funding aids research?", and then did something about it.

No one so large in the public eye with the exception of Princess Diana did so much and did it first and asked everybody, "What are you doing about this?"

And she didn't 'have' to do this. She could have sat back and tried on her jewels and counted her perfume money. She relentlessly raised money, big money, for aids research because it was the right thing to do. Which was a hell of a lot more than the politicians of the day ever did.

For this she always has my complete respect and gratitude.

Taylor went on to cofound the American Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR) and her own Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation, which raised over $50M in its first ten years.

This morning the Human Rights Campaign acknowledges Taylor's tireless campaign against HIV/AIDS: "We are deeply saddened by the death Elizabeth Taylor. Ms. Taylor was a true ally to the LGBT community. She was one of the first public voices to speak up about the AIDS crisis while many others stayed silent in the 1980s and she helped raise millions of dollars to fight the disease. SO many great scenes in this movie but this is one of my favorites. This shows how good of an actress she really is.I wonder sometimes if it was real or just acting.

How awful is it that just this morning I was thinking to myself, "Gee, there hasn't been a major celebrity death in a while."

An incredible loss, indeed.

Even though I knew she was sick, it was still a shock to see on the news. So sad. She was just such a lovely person.
