This number is not impressing me.

Rosie's new teeth scare me.

That number was so underwhelming when the male dancers came in, I turned the other cheek.

I'll wait and catch the highlights, if any, on the tube.

Liza isn't a smart choice to duet with for LIVE television. She's unpredictable and her performance varies each time. If it was Liza doing that number solo, it would have worked so much better.

The show should have opened with a production number and followed with a monologue.

I'll check it out in a few hours, and stay away from this thread in the meantime.

so far, really sucks. and why does rosie insist on singing? shes awful. and was liza even singing?

shame... i always thought her old 90's show was charming.

Very poor transitions in between "acts."

WAT - I agree. I love Rosie but so far am unimpressed. Her daytime show was a huge hit and it is missing that element of lowkey realness. The primetime special is an attempt at TRYING to be something it's not, and because it's doing a professional approach to it, it's failing.

They should have just made it an ORIGINAL program, meaning making a variety show fresh and work for today's audiences.
