So the nation's first African-American President has a desire to see a film about a defining moment in the forward march of Civil Rights, one I daresay that impacted the trajectory of a family named Obama, and his investment, support and wholehearted endorsement of the film is a negative? Do you think he perhaps screened "Zero Dark Thirty" at some point? Because, you know, he had some strong feelings about its kinda, like, relevant plot? And, while we're at it, maybe the First Lady was dying to see it, too. It must get boring watching "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" and "Mahogany" every night. Maybe they break it up with "Sparkle" and "The Defiant Ones."
