The version of "Coffee in a Cardboard Cup" that's featured in "AND THE WORLD GOES 'ROUND" starts out in its usual tempo and gets a little bit faster with each verse, but then by the middle of the last verse, it REALLY TEARS UP!!!

One of the fastest songs I've ever heard is "Sam" by the Meat Puppets. The first verse contains 192 syllables (16 bars of eighth-note triplets in 4/4) and lasts all of 20 seconds.
