Okay, i just saw Rob tonite at Therapy sitting with the Bare cast. Man, he is adorable. Straight I hear, but we can dream, right? (will he delete this thread? Time will tell...)

Broadway Girl/CJR brings up an interesting point...which is better? a relationship with someone OUTSIDE your hobby/vocation, or someone who SHARES it? sometimes i think a little separation of interests makes for better chemistry...

As an actress but I would never ever date another actor. It's like incest. yuck. I like to be with someone who has nothing to do with what I do and has a normal career, yet can still appreciate my crazy goals.

Responding to TxTwoStep....

It's interesting... on the one hand it's nice to have someone else who works in the same field I do (but in a different aspect). We have the same friends, pretty much, rotate in the same circles (and did before we began dating) and we understand one another's schedules. On the other hand, nothing is private and everyone and their mother knows all our business because nothing is private in the Broadway community. That's really the only part that sucks.

Sometimes it's "you're dammed if you do and dammed if you don't." Of course, it's not just like that with relationships on Broadway, it's like that with almost everything. There's nothing more alarming than going to tell your friend (who also works on broadway) about something that happened to you and having them tell you they already heard about it
