As a long time fan of both The View and The Howard Stern show, I'm looking forward to seeing Robin Quivers on The View Monday, April 14. It will be her first time on The View. They talked about it on Howard's show yesterday.
I think she will get along fine with Whoopi, Joy and Barbara but I'm not so sure how it will go will Elisabeth. It should make for some good tv.
I love Robin. I will have to record that!
I want Robin to come out and punch Elizabeth with her breasts.
Favorite Robin moment: her agreeing to go with Richard Simmons to a performance of LEGS DIAMOND.
I saw her once at a perf of SIDE MAN. She loves the theater. Howard does not.
Maybe she can replace Phylicia "I AM Lena Horne" Rashad in "Cat"? :)
Howard has talked about going to see certain shows and enjoying them (Phantom, Sweeney Todd, etc.)
He hates the theater. He went to see SWEENEY because his bimbo fiancee Beth used to date Michael Cerveris.
I miss Robin and Howard.
"He went to see SWEENEY because his bimbo fiancee Beth used to date Michael Cerveris."
I don't know about all that. I just remember him praising the production.
I know he saw RENT with the original cast. Adam Pascal is a big Howard fan and said he hoped to be famous one day so he could be a guest on the show.
Beth dated Cerveris and I guess they remain friends.
She gives me the creeps; it is obvious that she is marrying Howard for his fame and wealth. She looks as blonde and vapid as Kelly O'Hara.

Not much of a Beth O. fan. I did love Alison, though.
"Favorite Robin moment: her agreeing to go with Richard Simmons to a performance of LEGS DIAMOND."
I remember that. Richard Simmons was always a fun guest. I remember when he was furious because Howard reneged on his promise to go with him to see "The Prince of Tides."

"his bimbo fiancee Beth used to date Michael Cerveris."
Who hasn't?
I outgrew the Howard Stern show but when I did listen to it, I remember that whenever he went to a broadway show, he raved about it and recommended it.
Elizabeth Taylor
I feel sorry for Allison. Although I am sure Howard paid her well to keep her mouth shut as well as funds for their daughters. I find it hard to believe that his kids have NO problem with him dating someone young enough to be his daughter and who comes off as such a shallow bimbo model. This week Beth O came on with Billy Joel's 12-year-old wife who wrote a cookbook.
I have been listening to Howard and Robin for about 15 years and the show has never been better now that they are on Sirius. I don't feel bad for Allison. She is happily remarried and her and Howard still remain friends. Beth O did date Michael Cerveris at one time. Beth O doesn't bother me at all. I thought the interview with her and Billy Joel's wife the other day was great.
Howard likes Broadway more than he admits and has talked about friends of his that are Broadway actors. He admitted to liking Sweeney Todd, Cabaret, Phantom and The Lion King.
Of course Robin is a big Broadway fan and talks about going to the theatre often. My favorite is when she took Artie Lange to A Bronx Tale for his birthday. Artie also saw Jersey Boys with his mother and loved it.
The View should be interesting. Barbara will be nice to Robin considering Barbara recently was on The Howard Stern show and they got along fine. Whoopi has done Howard's show several times. I can't imagine Robin putting up with Elisabeth's crap.
I have listened to the show for almost 23 years.
Allison is happily remarried; I feel bad for her since she had to raise the kids through a divorce. And again, do you honestly think those kids like Beth O? Would they like her if she were not engaged to their father? Whenever she comes on I change the station. She sounds as dim as Jessica Hahn.
I wish a caller with guts would ask poor Gary if there is a death pool for when Howard and Beth split up.
Robin has also seen theater in London; she also saw "Drowsy Chaperone" with Bob Saget, guest of the show, and "Glenngary Glenn Ross".
I wonder if Elizabeth will be "conveniently" absent on the 14th?
I was thinking the exact same thing fflagg, I wouldn't be surprised if Elisabeth is "sick" on April 14.
Elizabeth better be there, I'm dying to see if she opens her mouth. Robin is usually the most sane one in a talk show situation, but not afraid to speak her mind in proper manner...I have fond memories of Robin turning Linda Rodstandt's ignorance against her on Leno.
And Glebb, you don't have to miss Robin and Howard - Sirius is fantastic!
Is Robin going to be a guest or is she co-hosting?
Linda was on to promote an album and Robin to promote her book. Linda accused Robin of being a "shill" and Robin asked if she ever listened to the show. Being PC and a probable lesbian without a sense of humor Linda of course never heard the show. Robin told her how can she offer an opinion if she never heard the show. Of course Jay Leno sat there clueless.
Robin is going to be a guest. She is promoting her charity event "A Night of Music and Art" benefiting Healing Bridges on April 17th at the Rainbow Room.
It's a shame Robin's tv show never got off the ground, it would have been great. But she's in the best shape of her life, she's got a little romance going on, and she's indulging in a little charity kick. So huzzah for her!
I think her tv show would have been great. If Howard ever retires, I think her tv show will happen.
As an FYI, Robin will also be on The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet today (Monday).
I'll be tuning, though that show usually makes me want to stab my eyes out.
This Stern interview with Leah Remini from a few years ago is hilarious. Howard, Robin, and Artie all goof on her about scientology and she gives it right back to them.

Did anyone just watch the interview? She looks fabulous. Good for her for losing all that weight.
