"barak obama is an empty suit selling "hope" in lieu of Truth. Oprah Winfrey helped to elect Arnold Swartzenegger. I have no doubt that she voted her purse by doing this, as she is a large land owner in California, and that ilk fears Dems because they do not want to pay their "fair share" of Cali tax."

I can't help it. While I don't believe Obama to be anti-choice and don't know what she means when she says he backs "right wing corporate racist anti worker bull****," I still have affection for crazy Roseanne.

And THIS remark about Oprah made me laugh:

"...you do not like other women who actually stand for something to working American Women besides glamour, angels, hollywood and dieting!"

Well that was all of two days ago. She's back pedalling now:

"I am so sorry for sounding like I don't like Oprah or Obama. I do. Oprah has been a force for good for a long time, and I just got carried away with my preference for Hilary over Obama."

Selling 'hope' in lieu of Truth?

Roseanne hasn't known 'Truth' in ages. Wealthy people in this country have little clue about what 'Truth' means. 'Hope' is often the only thing that keeps a lot of people in this country going because 'Truth' keeps smacking them in the face every day.

yeah, basically

sitting here watching most of the Republican candidates trying to suck up to Michigan voters by promising economic help (yeah, right)...except McCain, who is parroting our Democratic Governor's 'reposition and retrain' approach

but at least the Repubs are showing up - that's more than the Dems have done

"She's at it again!

'80s sitcom star Roseanne has posted another shortsighted tirade on her blog.

This time, she says:

"oprah winfrey

has refused to do a show with the FIRST WOMAN candidate for President who has EVER won a primary election, in the history of the United States of America. I saw Hilary on the ridiculous tyra banks' show, and fumed. Hilary deserves to have been able to address the huge female demographic that Oprah's billions came from. How very disgusting, and how very very telling!! Maybe if Hilary was discussing her fat thighs Oprah would have had her on. Oprah doesn't really seem to respect the intelligence of her audience at all. Obama slaps the faces of his supporters with his traitorous praise of ronald reagan, the man who singlehandedly destroyed the working people, the economy, and the mental health safety net in this country, and told inner city kids that ketchup was a vegetable. I pray for the speedy failure of his divisive anti-feminist campaign. Oprah COULD HAVE delivered her viewers an audience with the most powerful and successful woman in American politics since Eleanor Roosevelt, and the only democratic candidate who has a prayer of winning this election at the most crucial time there has ever been in this country. I believe its she and David Geffen's plan to elect fellow billionaire Romney. This country's not going to elect a democrat who speaks well of republicans and reagan, like Barack Hussein Obama does. She might very well be crazy... but she is one of only public figures out there talking about working-class issues (not to be confused with middle class). For that, she has my respect.

I've been suspect of Oprah since her Schwarzenegger re-election stunt... well, truth to tell, I never did much liked her brand of salvation through consumerism.

So keep talking crazy Roseanne. I still love ya.

Not sure where the problem lies. Roseanne comes from a working class, blue-collar background. Why isn't she allowed to speak to the struggles of the poor and working class? Why should she be punished or lose credibility for having become a success? Rosie may be a bit kooky, but her concern never, ever struck me as being insincere.

I think Hilton means it's going to get her into trouble again, which is not in and of itself shortsighted, since she doesn't really give a SH*T what trouble she gets into.

That said, I think her accusation that David Geffen and Oprah are conspiring to get Romney elected is crazier than me accusing JohnBoy2 of being Brendan Stryker.

I think she's just doing it for the attention... she'll probably release a statement saying the opposite thing tomorrow like she did last time.
