Just announced season 2 starts January 14th. Two seasons at the same time is confusing so heres a separate thread. Im more excited about this season than any other since UK1 is my all-time favorite RPDR season ever.

The first season of UK is in my top 3, for sure. I’m excited we’re getting 2 seasons at once. Once a week just isn’t enough for my Drag Race intake.

Curious when they’ll announce the queens.

Speaking of UK S1, what does everything think of the Frock Destroyers album/EP? 

I enjoy "Her Majesty" but can't really get into the rest.

I think a lot of Drag Race girls feel the need to record music even if they might not have that in their bag of tricks, as it were. Not everyone needs to do everything. That’s my take on that and in general.

I like the song they did for the show and that’s it. I’ve never liked any song a Ru Girl has released - none. Bro a drag queen doesn’t mean you can sing and I have no idea why they think it does.

Trixie Mattel is legitimately a great singer-songwriter, but she's not putting out the typical drag tracks.

Good singer doesn’t mean good music. Also, opinions are just that: opinions. I don’t love Coldplay, but the Grammy nominators clearly think they’re Meryl Streep.

An enjoyable first episode. I am really loving Lawrence Chaney and really surprised who was sent home. It was an odd lip sync the person gave. Was waiting for something to happen and it didn't happen.

That’s how you do a season premiere. And what an insanely talented cast!

And that lipsync was off but Bimini sold it. I agree I thought Joe was gonna bust out of the dress or something so that was very strange. But yeah - a group of highly entertainting girls in what I’m sure is going to be a great season.

I watched it again and Lawrence is just everything. I’m also fascinated by Veronica. She’s a BEAUTIFUL Queen and a cute nerdy boy - like Seymour and Audrey rolled into one.

As for the bottom I honestly don’t know WHO should have been there, I thought everyone was so good which is a really good sign for the remainder of the season.

Also here to throw in some love for Lawrence. The looks and the body are RIGHT and she’s got the humor to give them life. I’m also loving Veronica and would have put her in the top along with Lawrence and Asttina.

I’m a little surprised Joe Black was in the bottom 2, but the lip sync she gave was a snooze and I think I would’ve gotten sick of the Grand Dame act by next week anyway.

I’m excited. This first episode was already better than the first two episodes of season 13 combined.

Since she’s a cabaret star maybe she’s not use to lip syncing? That’s what I kept thinking. She had cute moments but she didn’t command the stage. But maybe she’s use to some tiny Duplex like stages.

She does read a lot older but would have loved to have seen more of her. Some of her drag looked quite interesting. I need to rewatch the lip-sync again but when it looked like she was ready to take off, she just deflated.
