Russian lawmaker seeks to deny LGBT parental rights

"Lawmaker Alexei Zhuravlyov has proposed a bill that would deny gay parents custody over their own children. If passed it would make 'non traditional sexual orientation' a basis for the deprivation of parental rights. It places same-sex sexual orientation in the same category as alcohol and drug abuse."

well thats just silly. its just Proposal and that doesnt really mean anything. stupid stuff gets proposed in USA all the time too.

I can't imagine any intelligent, informed person doubting it.

It's in line with both his "anti-gay propaganda" law and the one banning the adoption of Russian-born children not only to gay couples but also to any couple or single parent living in any country where marriage equality exists in any form.

understandably everyone wants those beautiful russian babies! japan, usa, europe....they are understandably trying to stop so many from leaving the country. the problem is they shouldnt use discrimination to do so.

Jersey in response to your questions in your post we all know there are way too many poor underfed and underprivileged american babies. I am sure the reaction here in USA would be loud and deafening if lots of those poor underprivileged babies were being sold or sent to Japan or China.
