Seacrest has just about as much personality that Dick Clark had when he was Seacrest's age. Remember, I was one of those kids who rushed home every afternoon to see AMERICAN BANDAID.

I like Ryan, met him once and he seemed like a really nice guy.

Steve Kmetko had an unfortunate transition back then with new management at E. It didn't work out.

I miss Jules Asner.

Question, who's hotter, Steve Kmetko or Ted Casablanca???

ME, TOO! Bring back Jules!!!!!

Honestly, I think the job of Seacrest (and Clark) is to not have that much of a personality. They're function is to let others shine.

Perhaps, Robbie. I just don't take to Seacrest. You know how that happens.

Ya know, I don't really have a problem with Ryan Seacrest either. He's an on-air tv personality who's attached to cheesy shows and entertainment magazines -- sort of the moder-day gameshow hoest. I think he is exactly what his job demands, and don't really see how he's any worse at it than a lot of other people out there who have no reputation for being a "tool" (whatever that means) whatsoever.

I don't care that he's doing it because it doesn't take much to be a TV personality, because not much personality is needed, just charisma and a pretty face. I just hated seeing all the fanfare and advertisiing for his arrival.

I don't even see a pretty face! I see nothing! But as usual, I'm in the minority, and that's fine with me!

Well Simon Cowell once said he takes 6 hours of hair and makeup for American Idol, so Lord knows what kind of re-wiring goes on to make the face look passable.

I always thought he looked a bit like a frog. And I saw him up close and personal. Having dinner...with red wine...ON ICE!

Now THAT makes him a joke!

Oops! Now I like him a little. I just recently tried ice in my red wine and loved it!

IN the wine?

Yes, let me explain. I'm highly allergic to all wine. I drink a little and feel sick. But at my friend's house the other night, she had a bottle of organic red wine, which she said had no nitrites or anything like that. I decided to give it a try, but put some ice in it to dilute it a little, thinking maybe I could handle it in watered down doses. I liked it, and was able to drink the half glassful!

Seacrest has been hilarious on Idol this year. He's way better than Carson Daly in terms of useless talent, now THERE'S a tool.

OMG are u Fing kidding....I HATE Seacrest!! Such a stupid closet case that is an awful interviewer!!! I HATE him soo much almost to the point of writing to E to tell them to fire him. Seriously....he's funny? WTF he is soo annoying!! He comes off extremely arrogant on TV!! I hate him GRRR!! and Issac is at least funny and sweet if a little on the quirky side... Ryan seacrest just is annoying rude to his interviewers...seriously did any of you even watch his pre show stuff on E....AWFUL. He almost is as bad as carson...carson has no personality...Ryan at least has one but it's a BAD one!

RIP Natasha Richardson. ~You were a light on this earth ~
