At first, I thought "What in the heck is this show about". But it turned out to be good (or at least I thought so. Has the potential to be the next "big" ensemble cast in my opinion.

With the first episode numbers it got i would not get excited about seeing how it plays out

Honestly, I think it'll make it and get a second season at the least, ABC seems to support whatever Shonda Rimes (sp?) puts out there, Grey's didn't start off strong and you see where that got ABC. Besides, I think they like having the "First black female led show in 30 years on network tv".

They didn't stand behind her last show for long--that "medical docs in the jungle" thing I can't even remember its name that I think had Meryl Streep's daughter in. She's kinda spread thin anyway, and ABC apparently has high hopes for her period soap this Fall.

The first episode was like watching paint dry. I like Kerry Washington, but she came off incredibly bland and unbelievable as a tough-as-nails power player. The spoiler was so glaring from the moment that her character was introduced that I actually laughed out loud when it happened.

It's a dud.

That show you are speaking of was called "Off the Map." I didn't like the show at all but I had a thing for the drug dealer boyfriend of one of the main characters.

I just finished it! At first, I was like WTF is this? Then by 20 minutes in, I was hooked!! I like it.

I actually really loved Off the Map, and I'm not a Grey's fan. I was so disappointed it went.

Oh good god, I totally forgot about Off the Map. My friend Jenn was convinced it was a "so-bad-it's-good" campfest that she implored me to watch it. I gave it a shot, but it just made me miserable. Plus, I was in a chemo ward when I watched it, and it just made me want to die more!
