so i got to see this movie today and i thoroughly enjoyed it and agree with what everybody is saying who loved it

naming the cop Anthony Perkins was just hilarious!

it was painful seeing Trevor get shot in the crotch... ouch!

also... Neve Campbell looks really good! she pretty much looked like she barely aged!

Such a shame America has not taken to this film, its barely made $40 million at the US Box Office (around 80 million in total worldwide)and has already fallen out of the top ten (never got to number 1). I think its killed all chances of a Scream 5 now. I think opening the film over the kids holidays when the kids films were coming out (Rio, Hop) was a terrible idea by Dimension.

Oh well, at least we got this film, im glad it got to number 1 here in the UK and i look forward to the DVD coming out (im sure that will sell very well)

They waited way too long to revisit the franchise. The prime movie-going demographic (teens) is not familiar with the franchise. Also, the horror that is popular now is the very eerie, gothic and effects laiden creepers, not the tongue in cheek stuff.

They totally missed the boat. I think they would have done better with a fall release as well.
