you don't even know how excited i am.
Okay two things
YAY!! I LOOOOOOVVVVE sex and the city and now that their making a movie its just going to answer so many questions from the last episode and it will just be so cool to see everyone again.
BOOOO!! I'm not that happy that theyre making it 3 years after the show ended and i think how they left the series was good, with them walking out and all their relationships.
Oh well it will be interesting.

Sarah Jessica Parker better break out the Lucille "Mame" Ball camera lens covered with cheesecloth. It's one thing to have your face on a 32" tv screen. It's quite another to have it on a 12 foot movie screen. Her smoker wrinkles are going to look like the Mississippi River.

Meeeyow! Your the new Mr. Blackwell!
I'm so beyond happy...words cannot express my joy!
Is this really necessary? You're slutty single sucessful women in New York...we GET it! The joke has worn thin.

It's not a joke. The real joke is movies that pair up old farts with gorgeous, young women. Like that would ever happen, unless you're Donald Trump and have lots of money. Successful slutty women? Why not? It's not just for the men anymore...
YEAH!!! A movie that's not a remake, doesn't star Lindsay Lohen, and doesn't deal with politics. Finally, some real entertainment from the girls....
She tells American publication Star, "I've just come home and there was just this flood of excitement!"
The Star isn't exactly the most credible source.

I always figured the best way to do the movie would be to kill off Samantha (Since Cattrall wanted too much money) and set the movie as the three survivors meet for her funeral. Updated On: 12/21/06 at 09:11 AM

A movie that's not a remake
It's based on a tv series, though.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love this, but I'll believe it when I see it.
I hope Cattrall got the money she asked for.
Goth, SJP doesn't have smokers wrinkles-she doesn't smoke. Her character does. They all have been in feature films before and look great on a big screen. I am excited. Even if the movie is terrible, I will enjoy it. I miss those ladies. Even if they were all in a convalescent home, I'd be thrilled.

She used to smoke (the actress, not the character). After she quit, she started smoking herbals on the show. And if you've seen Failure to Launch you'll know that Sarah's already benefiting from an overly greased lens. You can barely see her through it when she makes her first entrance in that movie.
Will they all be divorced and single again?

... We already have the elderly slut, Blanch - Golden Girls.
Anyone else see the episode of Robot Chicken with Golden Girls in the City? I think it might be up on the site that can't be named. Hillarious!
^ I'll have to go check that out, that show is pretty funny.
I was watching Sex and the City last night, because I was sort of bored and nothing else was on... and my dad came in and watched it with me [because of SJP]. For some reason, my dad likes her. I don't really know why, and I have a feeling that if and when this movie comes out, he'll be first in line to see it. Not because of the plot or anything like that, simply just to see his beloved SJP on the big screen.
"Yes, the brutalities of progress are called revolutions. When they are over, men recognize that the human race has been harshly treated but it has moved forward." - Les Miserables
Maybe the movie will be a prequel with all of the actresses shot through a lot of gauze and wearing 70s fright wigs. I'd love to see Samantha in the 70s. They could show Carrie meet the rude waiter at the Saloon in the 80s.
“Jesus Christ, it was not TGI Fridays. It was The Saloon, and may I remind you, in 1989 the Saloon was very happening.”

Are we sure about this? I've checked other news sources such as CNN and Fox News and don't see anything concerning this.
I heard about it two weeks ago.
