He seems very nervous... He was flicking his hands a lot during his opening monologue.
Atleast he is a lot more exciting than Ellen...
A rock can be more exciting than Ellen.
Yeahh, he did seem kinda nervous.
Ellen Degeneres or someone else?
I think he's talking about Ellen Paige.
I am DVRing it.

Yes, Ellen Page.
Wow, the first 2 skits were pretty bad.
This is NOT going to be a good episode...
Skit number 3 isn't looking too promising either...
well the 6 year old at the hibachi sketch was lame
Lately, there's been about 2 good skits and about an hour of commercials.
SNL needs a new executive producer with fresh ideas and a different perspective because it's terrible a lot more than good.
Every now and then there's a spark of brilliance, but it hasn't happened in 2008.
The last skit I remember being brilliant is the L&O extra skit.

Penelope is pretty brilliant, in my opinion.
I miss the "bronx beat" skits.
wtf!

Oh my god, that Digital Short was quite possibly the best thing on SNL I've seen in years.
mariah seemed nervous and very under rehearsed. i guess given the short notice to be on the show it makes sense but all she had to do was stand and sing.
I liked the 6 year old sketch. WAm I alone?
Jonah Hill, whom I never heard of before tonight, was superb during that extremely long winded 6 year old sketch. The sketch wasn't funny, but Hill was terrific. He delivered a huge amount of copy seamlessly, and that wasn't easy, having to look in a different direction for each cue card!
What was that strip of fabric Mariah Carey kept tugging on? If you aren't comfortable with the length (lol) of your skirt, don't have the camera angle below the stage looking up your hooha.
I thought the 6 year old skit was pretty funny. And the Target lady always makes me laugh. Update was pretty funny also. And Mariah was fine. After that awful performance on GMA, I was kind of glad Janet wasn't on. And I like Mariah's new song. The video with the guy from 30 Rock is pretty funny. Oh, and the digital short was good.
I think Andy Samberg is trying to tell us something with all these gay-themed digital shorts he's been doing.
The "RENT" line in Six Year Old made me howl. Only us Broadway lovers can appreciate that kind of humor.
Target lady was on crack tonight but she is always hilarious. Kristen Wiig can do no wrong. Now please bring back Aunt Linda or the A-Holes on the next live show. Can't wait for Walken!
This was probably the best Weekend Update I've seen of Seth & Amy. It was moderately funny, and I enjoyed "REALLY?!?!"
Jonah Hill was good in the 6 year old Benihana sketch.
What the hell is up with MACGRUBER It's never been funny, and it's the same thing over and over and over and over and over again..
uncageg, what video with the guy from 30 Rock?
The video for Mariah's new song, which she sang on the show, features Jack McBrayer. Go to Yahoo music. it is featured there.
Oh right. I've seen the video. I thought you were talking about something off tonight's episode of SNL.
That SNL Digital Short tonight was quite funny I gotta say.

I'm sorry--the Digital Short had my friend and I HOWLING--it was hysterical! God, the shock value in that skit...
If you didn't see it, be sure to watch it on NBC.com tomorrow!
I stopped watching after Weekend Update to go see a midnight showing of Moulin Rouge! :)
You didn't miss out on anything.
I don't even know who Jonah Hill is but I've downloaded all post-strike episodes--after not seeing SNL for a good four years or so. The Tina Fey episode was pretty good but after that, I realized SNL is just a pretty unfunny show. Last week had some of the worst skits for the great Amy Adams, God, awful writing!
The Weekend Update is embarrassing. Seth Meyer, if you keep smirking, laughing, or smiling at your own jokes, it makes the joke even less funny than they are, buddy!!!
