I don't even know who Jonah Hill is but I've downloaded all post-strike episodes--after not seeing SNL for a good four years or so. The Tina Fey episode was pretty good but after that, I realized SNL is just a pretty unfunny show. Last week had some of the worst skits for the great Amy Adams, God, awful writing!
The Weekend Update is embarrassing. Seth Meyer, if you keep smirking, laughing, or smiling at your own jokes, it makes the joke even less funny than they are, buddy!!!

I feel asleep watching Jonah Hill who was apprently channeling a 7th grader making his TV debut. When I awoke later, bleary-eyed I watched a sketch where someone (Wiig?) played a drugged out talentless singer mangle a song so ridiculously bad I chortled a bit. It seemed to be going on so long that finally I put my glasses back on and focused. Ah! Not a sketch, an actual Mariah Carey Performance. That explains it.
They proved what I have always said . SNL does great political humor & after that all bets are off
Their Spitzer sketch was great. I tried watching the rest . The 6 year old sketch brings to mind the phrase beating a dead horse. I got 1/2 way thru Weekend Update before I gave up. My wife was asleep before that.
I think Mariah Carey's skirt was a tad on the short side . Non existant would be a better term. I heard her sing & thought to myself she actually makes recordings singing
i've never thought that the Target sketch was funny and I don't understand why they keep doing it when it is the same thing every single time... regardless I thought the six year old one was great, along with weekend update and the digital short...

I wonder why they keep on bringing Senator Calhoun back on. That is the least funny recurring sketch I've seen.

I can't believe people don't know who Jonah Hill is. He was in two of the biggest comedies of last year - Knocked Up and Super Bad. He also had a small role in 40 Year Old Virgin.
tracey morgan on barack was the best.
tina fey's was better :P
The Suze Orman sketch was hilarious. Wiig nailed that impersonation.
I find Tim Calhoon to be one of my favorite characters on update!
Nah, I'd say Morgan's was better, if only for the ending.
"Bitch might be the new black, but black is the new president, bitch!"
Tim Calhoun is the same thing over and over again, along with the Fred Armisen's newspaper guy. After the first time, it's just not funny anymore. Why don't they get that?
The Target lady was also funny the first time, I believe that was with Justin Timberlake..which was probably the last time SNL was funny.
Kristin Wiig's annoying competitive girl was funny, but it never ends well, and is getting very repetitive. As well as Kenan Thompson's Virginica.
I kinda miss Bronx Beat..Both Amy Poehler and Maya Rudolph were great in that.
I think they ran out of gas with that being the fourth straight show... and you'd think they'd have more material given the Spitzer event of this past week. And what was with Jonah Hill flapping his arms!
EDIT- I did really enjoy Kristen Wiig as Suze Orman.

I loved Bronx Beat. I miss Debbie Downer, too.
"What are you, Sioux? What are you, Cherokee?"
tim calhoun is always funny.
Think back to Sid Caesar who did live shows for 90 minutes each week. This group does not do it each & every week & it is closer to an hour. We should be grateful as image how lame they would be if they had more time to fill. I shutter to think the skectches that were deemed not funny & that the ones that aired beat out. The writer on Caesars show were also funny & talented.
I long for the days of Belushi & the Gang & Murphy /Piscopo . I cannot wait for new episodes of Mad TV
