I'd be happy with Kayla, Jeanine or Brandon winning although I wouldn't be upset if Evan won. We all know popularity plays into the vote.

Nigel's all out declaration that the winner will be Jeanine or Brandon could have caused people to turn around and vote like crazy for Kayla and Evan. There could be an upset.

As we have seen with American Idol the voting public doesn't like having a winner shoved down their throat. They like to pick their own winners.

It's totally a popularity contest. Most viewers have very little knowledge of dance whatsoever -- and regardless of what they think of an individual performance...once they decide who they are rooting for, THAT'S who they will vote for.

Remember: it's America's FAVORITE dancer...not BEST dancer.

Last night was the first ep I've seen since auditions...thanks to my hatred of Nigel Lythgoe, but I have to say Jeanine blew me away with her solo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40EXNLlGrrE. I also loved Brandon but his solo was not as perfectly choreographed as hers. They are both stunners. The other two were good in their partnerships but both solos left me cold.

I was told to watch this and now I'm not sure who should win...Brandon or Jeanine. Both of them are extraordinary.

Doodle, I liked Brandon's solo better last night, as opposed to the one in your link. That being said, he's quite the hottie!

I also liked the piece that Jeanine and Kayla did together last night.

Interesting Dottie...not to belabor it, but I felt like both were similar and VERY well choreographed, but last night he seemed a bit more frantic. Still, he is astounding...and adorable.

I dont get the love for the broadway kid...he easily had the loudest crowd reactions, so I guess he has a clear shot at winning.

I think the solos must be very tough, especially if you've had to do them week to week and keep coming up with new routines...that is why I am so impressed with Jeanine and Brandon. They look so prepared for those solos, and I've never seen anyone defy reason like Jeanine did with those pirouettes...and her grand jete was glorious. Brandon defys gravity.

Doodle, regarding Brandon's solo last night, I was so happy he didn't incorporate a backflip into it, as he did that in most of his solos. I think he has a beautiful line.

I have made it very clear that I didn't particularly care for Evan one bit. I just didn't "get" him.

Clearly I missed alot (didnt know he did alot of backflips before) and I just dont get why Even is so popular...because of his brother? Why is he nicer than Brandon, or either of the girls? I have nothing against him, but from last night's performances it seems he was completely outdanced AND outperformed.

I hope the best dancer wins and they are all successful, which I'm sure they will be.

I think that Evan seems "more accessible", more every man. But I think he sohould have been gone WEEKS ago.

I find it interesting that everyone here thinks Janine should win. My friend who is a choreographer and dancer thinks that of the girls, Kayla is the only one who will get work in the RW.

I think that's pretty doubtful. Most of them will be able to ride this for at least a little time. Will they have extensive careers? Who knows...the success of dancers is not one that you hear much about.

I do wish they'd do a 'whatever happened to' kind of show to talk about past finalists.
