Mister Matt,
I have to agree with you. Even though I was pulling for Brandon, I felt that Jeanine was especially strong in her solo and shone in all of the other dances that night.

Also, I have to say that while I was a bit disappointed in this season as a whole, especially with Nigel's somewhat tone deaf comments throughout and Mary's over-the-top mania (too much for me), but the highlights that were presented on the final show were truly highlights. Except for the Brand New Day opening number, I don't think that there was a weak one in the batch. Especially memorable, were the "butt" dance (nice to see with fewer errors), and the "addiction" dance (even stronger performance than on the original airing). Also, nice to see so many of Louis van Amstel's dances and that stunning tango with Janette and Brandon.

It took a while to bond with this season's dancers as there didn't seem to be any truly large personalities of seasons past (i.e. Twitch, Pasha, or Hok ), I was impressed by the quality of dance this season.

Next season, I think I'm going to have to watch the dancing and skip the judges comments.
