Well, this sure panned out to be an interesting season! I remember thinking in the beginning how it was shaping up to be one of the dullest seasons ever and then Sugar turned everything upside down and inside out. I like Bob and I'm happy for him, but I honestly felt Sugar deserved to win. I'm still stunned she did not receive one vote from the jury. They felt better giving their votes to Susie, who did absolutely nothing other than pull two immunity challenges out of her ass at precisely the right moments. There had to be so much bitter hatred for Sugar not to recognize exactly how much strategizing she accomplished throughout the game. I do think that is one of the douchiest juries in Survivor history simply for those Susie votes. Totally undeserved. And I honestly don't think Matty would have been that much better a choice for F3.
Sugar began her own demise when she caused that tie vote and finished herself off during the final jury. She wanted to play intergrity at the end, but apparently, the jury was not interested in awarding for integrity or for strategy. They strictly awarded based on...what? I don't even know. Niceness? And isn't that exactly what Corinne hates? If Corinne is such a bitchy badass, why didn't she vote for Sugar for flipping her off? That would make a LOT more sense than her stupid little ratings rant. She wants to be the new Sue, but it ain't gonna happen. We already had Sue. Been there, done that, you are just a copy cat. I don't like the c-word, but sometimes you come across a person who just fits the definition. Randy and Corinne are both c-words, in my book.

Way late to this party, but I just last night got to watch the DVR'ed finale. Some thoughts...
First of all, YAY BOB! I was happy to see him win, even though he may not have played the best strategic game (did he even play any strategy at all until the final 6?). While Sugar was undoubtedly the game's shrewdest and best strategist, I am happy that Bob took the prize. Sugar shot herself in the foot by trying to play the integrity card at the end. She'd have been better off with the "Yeah I screwed people over, but that's the game" line.
Also, Susie....WTF? How did she manage to be one vote away from winning?? Her pathetic answers ("I tried") were laughable. She may rival Big Lil as the worst second place finisher ever.
I'm in shock that Sugar, probably the most deserving winner, did not get a single vote. Oh well.
Corrine is just a mean, vile, hateful person. It must be sad going through life like that, being so vindictive and negative all the time. Really, GET OVER YOURSELF. I was so glad that the jury didn't pay her any mind, and so happy that Sugar deservedly flipped her off.
Randy and the 6 random strangers...that about sums it up for him, doesn't it? Does he have ANY real family or friends? On his audition tape, he's sitting in front of a fireplace holding an urn with his dog's ashes in it. He describes the dog as the only other person on Earth he cares about. There is no camera man on the video either- it's set up on a tripod, so he didn't even have a friend to come over and tape it. What would have happened if he had made it to the family member reward? Would they have just brought out the urn for him to sit with?
Finally, it was nice to hear Kenny admit that his cockiness got him in to trouble. I like hearing people realize their mistakes.

Oh, how awesome would that have been to witness? I'll settle for cookies and the fake idol, but that idea is priceless.

I hadn't even thought of that! I wonder what would have happened then...
Hopefully this is the last we see of Randy and Corinne

Posted: 12/16/08 at 2:02pmIf Corinne is as big a publicity whore as she wants us to believe, I'm sure we haven't heard the last of her yet. She obviously is trying to be Omarosa, but we celebrated the rude and tacky on The Apprentice as it was the entire conceit of the show. Survivor is a different vibe. We truly do not embrace the Sues and Johnny Fairplays. We actually don't like it when the producers trot them out in a desperate attempt to create some drama. Corinne made herself look bad on purpose. I hope her family is ashamed of her, her company fires her, and her eggs implode and dry up simply out of sheer embarrassment. She should be forced to marry Randy and carry out a directive from President Obama that would carry a life sentence should they even think about procreating. GAH! The last time I detested two people on a reality show this much was the Colon/Chrusty team on The Amazing Race.

And on the opposite end of the spectrum from Corinne, we have the classy Marcus, who handled that question about Sugar beautifully.
I am surprised no one has mentioned Charlie's odd and uncomfortable question to Bob at final tribal council.

I watched portions again tonight.
It really was ridiculous that anyone voted for Suzie.
And, Corinne seemed like such an idiot. Did she think she was being funny or cute with her bitchiness and chat with Jeff? She sounded like a moron. Sad what people will do for their '15 minutes'.
I didn't like any of the jury questions or comments. One of these days it would be interesting to hear something thought-provoking.

Posted: 12/17/08 at 10:33amI appreciate that Jeff tells it like it is in the reunion. He might as well just say, "Susie, you didn't deserve the three votes you got. Corinne, you are the biggest b*tch I have ever met. Randy, dude, get a life."

In the "Ponderosa" videos on the CBS website they showed the jury getting to watch their videos. Randy's was made by a friend.

Aww, I thought Charlie's question was just a little inside joke with Bob, considering how he responded, since Charlie obviously was going to vote for him no matter what.
I thought Natalie's question in the last season was much, much odder.

Posted: 12/17/08 at 1:53pmHA! Natalie's question to Parvati regarding flirting and the bedroom and whatnot was one of the most ridiculous and baffling moments in a final tribal council. Nobody knew what the hell she was talking about, but it was pretty obvious she wanted to know if Parvati had the hots for her or was just playing her. I think she was trying to word it in a way that it might reveal something about Parvati's character to the jury, but it wasn't like they were going to learn any slutty new info regarding Parvati's behavior.
