The Pussycat Dolls reality show is returning for a second season. What has happened to network TV?
Even worse is that for the awful shows first season, our network replaced the new episodes of One Tree Hill with it ... that's a crime!
Well, the original Pussy Cat Dolls must all be approaching 55, so they have to find replacements soon. (Just kidding.)
I heard that Nicole (the lead singer) was leaving the group. I don't have any sources, as I said I heard. So I would assume it is a rumor, but you never know.
Wait, how can she leave? Who's gonna sing now? The rest of them were kind of eye-candy dancers. Oh, well.
I have no clue. That's why it didn't make sense that they chose Asia to be the next doll, because she can't sing either. So I would assume that's why they are doing season 2 - to find someone who can sing. IMO they should have chose Chelsea because she could sing.

How many Pussies can there be in the world? Pretty soon they won't all fit in their publicity shots.
I watched only the last episode, and it was quite obvious to me that Asia was the only choice. She blew the others out of the water.
I'm sure they have to keep replacing - only once a year isn't bad turnover for a company!
I will be all over the next season of this show- I usually can't stand reality tv, but I got sucked into Next Doll this season- it was such. good. cheese.
And you're not saying that One Tree Hill is the better show or something, are you?? Because I've seen exactly one episode of this, watching alongside my cousin who is *addicted* to it and so she filled me in while we were watching it, and are we talking about the same One Tree Hill with the basketball player who can only play for 15 minutes a game because he has a Serious Medical Condition, and his half-brother, and the half-brother's mother is pregnant by the uncle who was also the school shooter, while his own mother is an alcoholic, and then there there's a girl who went on tour to become a Rising Rock Star, but decided to give that all up and come back to school and become a cheerleader, and she's also pregnant now (or is it one of the other cheerleaders who is pregnant? I may have mixed them up), and then the loan shark ran over the pregnant cheerleader because the basketball player doesn't throw the Big Game. That One Tree Hill? That was also some good cheese- good times, good times.
Whoa -how did I miss that?

I know the Go Fug Yourself girls love this show, so if it gives them more fodder, I'm all for it.

Heh- was that to my One Tree Hill recap? :)
I may have gotten a few of the details wrong, but it was seriously one of the funniest hours of television I have ever watched. And not funny in the good way- I don't think I was supposed to laugh at the pregnant cheerleader, who was in the hospital, and then got hit by a car later that night.
My cousin watches it because Chad Michael Murray's hot. Or so she says- I don't see it.
It does make you wonder just how many Pussycat Dolls it takes to gyrate frothily and sing back up badly. If Nicole (who, when given a chance actually can sing) leaves, I shudder to imagine the kind of "music" the Dolls will perform.
Also, I have to say that they have brought new meaning to wearing cut up clothing. I'm totally fascinated.
Maybe the girls should worrry about putting out at least ONE more song that's a hit before sticking more people in their group.
I've never seen so much activity from One Hit Wonders before.
Oh, TheaterDiva, they're definitely not one-hit wonders, they've had a few songs out. almost all of which should never even be produced outside of a seventeen-year-old girl with a Hello Kitty tape recorder, but that's American music for you.
This is really kind of ridiculous, but I guess as long as they have people to audition, to watch, and to produce, they'll keep making anything.
Why don't they just make their own network? WSD-TV! Whoring Sea Donkey TV!
Yeah, it's all about having another reality show. I don't think it matters whether or not anyone's talented, or if the Dolls ever have a hit.
They probably had good ratings in season one, so.....
I just finished sewing the costumes for the new Pussy Cat Lounge in Vegas, and there is talk about another Lounge out here in LA.
WTF?

lol
Honestly ... I never understood they're appeal. Yes, they're very sexy, but nothing else really stands out.
And One Tree Hill rules! A few lackluster episodes, but all-in-all, it totally makes me want to be back in high school and fix the regrets that I have today and will always have, you know?
The reecent one where they all admit their secrets and regrets is a killer ... if you watch the show, you know which one I mean.
It also has the best acting of any teen soap, IMO.
Plus, Brooke (Sophia Bush) is hot
Atleast ONE TREE HILL is renewed. Unlike VERONICA MARS.
