A couple of summers ago, Karen Ziemba performed this song at Broadway in Bryant Park with some gorgeous dancing boys. I went over on my lunch hour to watch. It was an appropriate number as it was approximately a million degrees with a billion percent humidity that day.

I shouldn't complain too much. After all this is L.A. heat, which we all know is WIMPY compared to Midwest and East Coast heat.

This is what happens when you live here too long. I love it when the temperature crashes down to a frigid 49 degrees and you see people roaming the streets wrapped tightly in parkas!

Then when it roars up to 93, we have a power shortage from all the a/c abuse.

Mostly, our lives are lived in a never-neverland of 72 degrees and sunny.

But this is LOS ANGELES! We don't have weather out here.

We have "sunny and fair" with increasing chances of "sunny and fair" in the afternoon.

Forecast for the weekend: Sunny and fair.

This is not the L.A. weather I know and love. This is global warming, the Apocalypse and Armageddon. I want my money back.
