Shed No Tears for This Twisted Sicko: Linda Stasi on MJ

Posted: 7/2/09 at 4:47pmThere was an article on awkwardstar claiming that Jordan Chandler admitted to making the whole thing up at his father's request, but the article has since been removed so I'm guessing it was a hoax.

She's not new to the country.
Yeah, that was sort of my point. She has no excuse for her faux astonishment on the MJ death coverage or acting like his oddities have never been addressed or discussed.

Matt, try to imagine what OJ Simpson's coverage will be like when he dies. Contrast that with MJ's
I haven't seen one obituary that said anything like
"Michael Jackson, self-proclaimed 'king of pop' before his career went into a tailspin after accusations of child sexual abuse, died today. While he has had numerous #1 records and the biggest selling album of all time, he died deep in debt after a fan backlash caused his album sales to plummet."

Posted: 7/2/09 at 5:05pmI have to agree with the others who place just as much blame on the parents of all these children. Why would you let your child attend a "sleep over" with a forty-some year old man? Especially those parents who did so after the first round of allegations came out? If you are going to do that you might as well also teach your children that strangers in vans really do have the best candy and that it is perfectly ok to go for a ride with them when they ask you to.

Posted: 7/2/09 at 5:08pmI'm going to jump on that bandwagon as well. There is no way I would let my son sleep over at a 40 year old man's house.

I just had a sleepover with a 40 year old man last week and all the same things happened to me. Eerie.
He was a doctor though, so my mother was quite happy and has since encouraged me to have yet another sleepover.

Exactly, SNAFU.
I think all those parents should have been tossed in jail right alongside the man they were accusing. They were essentially high-priced pimps peddling in child prostitution.

One commentator, on Huff Post, I think, said that he lost touch with reality after getting burned in the Pepsi-commercial disaster, that there might have actually been brain damage or post-traumatic stress.
But, because he had so much money and so many sycophants, he never got treatment or any reality checks. It was from that point on that his behavior became unhinged and harmful, both to himself and to other people.

Now the bodyguard is saying Michael had a "secret" girlfriend...
Girlfriend!
#36re: Shed No Tears for This Twisted Sicko: Linda Stasi on MJ
Posted: 7/2/09 at 5:58pmYes right, there has also been reports from a journalist saying that over the past few years Michael had a few adult male lovers. One, a construction worker.

Posted: 7/2/09 at 6:35pmThe man is dead. Anyone can come out and say anything and there's nothing anyone can do about it. We're going to hear a million and one people come forward in the next few months/years saying they were Michael's secret lovers. I'll only believe the claims if they are written in crayon.

JoeKV? Enough.
Yes, PJ, I was interested in looking at the possible things that go into the creation of a monster. Details, nuances, possibilities. At the time, when JoeKV did manage to stop short of tarring me with the pedo label for what I wrote, I thought it was a willful misread of what I had posted. Now I just chalk it up to him not being a very close reader. Uninterested in the before, just the after, like Stasi. Which is fine, it's a stance. My posts weren't just stances. I'm sorry some people thought they were. And not surprised some other people thought they were.
And speaking of stances, Stasi loses me with hers. I mean, there's plenty to be righteously upset about in the awful tragic, charmed and doomed life of Michael Jackson. But "amoral savages"? Come on. Somebody should have convinced her to ratchet down the Hyperbole-o-Matic.

You obviously never saw her on local New York news channel NY1 with Joe Simone.
They would do a He Said/She Said weekly commentary that was hysterically like the old "Jane, you ignorant slut!" segment on Saturday Night Live with Jane Curtin and Dan Ackroyd.
This hyperbole WAS ratcheted down for Linda Stasi. You should see what she's like when she ratchets UP!

PJ, are you thinking of Mark Simone, or does she debate John Simon also?
Anyway, as I said before, I'm lenient on MJ because he wasn't in his right mind, but what I want to add here is that I think he was THE greatest entertainer of our time. And then he became THE wierdest entertainer of our time. With those two titles, all the media attention is warranted, in my opinion.

MARK Simone! Of course!
So if he was "THE greatest entertainer of our time," does that include Sinatra, Garland, Elvis, Diana Ross and the Beatles?
Or does "our time" start post-Diana?
