we have this thing my partner and I do, childish-yes, but when we feel a disagreement starting, it makes us disolve in giggles

me: SHUT UP!
him: NOW YOU SHUT UP! (evenly spaced)
me: Nooooooo YOU SHUT UP!
him: JUST SHUT UP!
me: RUHE, KINDER (literally shut-up children in German)

and by then we're giggling......(guess we are easily amused in the desert)

SHUT-UP is one of my fav phrases
