I just saw a commercial for Six Flags Great Adventure (NJ), I can't wait for the new Kingda Ka ride! I am such a roller coaster junkie.
Anyone else getting their season passes soon?

I started seeing commercials for GA a couple weeks ago and all I could think about was that guy in the commercials was back for the season. UGH!!

Just an FYI, Six Flags Great Adventure has a gay night. It's a private event that costs around $35 and is, I believe, the Friday after Labor Day. My boyfriend, some friends and I went last year and it was fantastic. NO lines. Rode the front of everything over and over again. Not sure if there is an age limit, but I encourage all you gays and lesbians (and friends thereof) to do it this year. So much fun, so empty and no lines.

Oh I bet you did, Mary
.
I'm also a roller coaster junkie. I'll be going to the Universal theme park in Barcelona, Port Aventura, in two weeks.
Getting my season pass in three weeks! Can't WAIT.

i was on the cherrios boxes for SIX FLAGS earlier this year!
thats me in the blue polo shirt!
That's so cool IMsooHyprToday. I love six flags.....just not the big roller costers (yes, I know how weird that is).

I saw the title of this thread and had an idea!! We (BWW) should meet at Six Flags one day. Obviously, some of us (or most of us for that fact) won't be able to attnend but we should try to make it on a date that is semi- good for people. This way, nobody is excluded from 18 and below and all that.
I don't know- just a random idea...
Yeah! I'm up for that! Sometime in June or July though, after schools get out.

I didn't think this would ever be a topic...but I hate Six Flags. Every weekend I'd visit my dad in the summer and we'd all go to Six Flags (in Arlington). It gets a little old and boring.
But I did go to Gay Day in 04. It was pretty fun.

Yay, IMsooHypr! I was so excited when I found your cereal box in the store last summer!
My family used to go to Six Flags Over Texas when I was a kid, although I tend to think of it as being too much of a "coaster park" now for my cowardly tastes. I found a website once that had a lot of the old Six Flags rides like the Spelunker Cave, the Fiesta Train, the Flying Jenny, LaSalle Riverboats - boy, talk about nostalgia. Ah, sitting outside the watermelon stand, watching the logs make the last drop on the flume ride... Those were the days.
I can't wait for Kingda Ka either. I looooooooove roller coasters!

I've never been to Six Flags. Its all about Cedar Point for the people in Michigan. It was kind of funny, when my friend's 8th grade class went to Cedar Point for a field trip, they didn't know that they had scheduled it on gay day. It weirded out a lot of people. At 13, you don't usually have that much exposure to gay people all at once.

I knew they let screaming queens in the park Wobbie, but I had no idea they featured em on boxes of cereal.

Six Flags is the BOMB DIGGITY BOMB! Six Flags Over Texas is awesome (Titan..) I rode it 4 times and almost blacked out where there are these circles (that you are sideways on).
i love when your field of vision slowly circles in...
you get used to it after 14 times in a row (with breaks only long enough to change the film...)

I remember the Spee-Lunker's Cave at Six Flags Over Texas. That was a very cute ride. I also remember something called the Mind-Bender, but I didn't know what it was because I never got to ride it.
