re: So You Think You Can Dance

The female judge annoys me.

And this Lynnrae or whatever is scaring me. Is she on something?

I am loving that that guy just said "I LITERALLY dance twenty-four seven." Well, no wonder you're so emotional - you must be damn tired - and hungry!!!

And, clearly, he doesn't, since he was just sitting there when he said it!

I know! The ones like him, who really can't take rejection, fascinate me. How far do they think they're going to get in show business without being rejected?

"I LITERALLY dance twenty-four seven."

But you clearly don't tumble 24/7, bud.

Anyone else see his little mishap?

Ouch.

re: So You Think You Can Dance

Different guy, Baby. The guy who tumbled his face off (LITERALLY) was humble about it - Mr. 24/7 was going on about how wrong the judges were.

Unless it was the same guy and the head injury kicked in during his interview.

re: So You Think You Can Dance

Yes, their inability to accept rejection fascinates me, too! Nigel Lythgoe seems more blunt this year. And, what does that tumbling have to do with dance? Isn't that gymnastics?

re: So You Think You Can Dance

Oops, I was only half paying attention, I thought it was the same guy.

ETA: John, I'm sure the gymnastics was intented to a) be impressive and b) make him stand out. That is, if it was done well.

And we all know how that turned out...

Baby, you must have loved Claire as much as I did. I am so sad that she's gone. re: So You Think You Can Dance

I think it was the same guy. He did that tumble, they made a big deal about it; but he was fine. Actually, it's in my recently deleted on TiVo. I'll check.

She was ADORABLE...and could really move!

Plus, I loved the "y'alls".

re: So You Think You Can Dance

Yep. Same guy. 24/7 for 13 years and tumbled and fell.

re: So You Think You Can Dance

But she was right about his change in demeanor, after the fall.

re: So You Think You Can Dance

I think Clare could have been a contender. That was very emotional.

Yes, the guy crying about 24/7 was the same who ended up falling on his ass.

He was complaining that they wanted him to try again, basically.

From Hawaii.

Guaranteed someone sees the A Chorus Line revival, will turn to their 16 year old friend and go... "This is JUST like So you think you can dance!"

re: So You Think You Can Dance

Funny, because as they stood there on stage and Nigel called people to step forward I was thinking "This is so A Chorus Line..."

re: So You Think You Can Dance

It's interesting that the dancers don't seem to care if the judges can hear them yelling and squealing and disapproving of decisions loudly.

And I hope they didn't just promo that Ben is cut, but from what that female judge with the horrible annoying laugh said, it seems pretty sure that they did. How stupid.
