Namaste, they already had my information anyway. I thought it was a clever way of getting information from more people as well as making the supporters feel special. Again, a great idea poorly executed.

Not the best choice IMO
Bayh would have helped him more in a more important state & richardson would have really helped with Hispanics.

Hillary is already getting ready for 2012.
She will pick up political IOU'S for a few years. She feels that this is her destiny & she will eventually get it. Problem is 4 years is a long time & this year proved nothing is inevitable.

I'm not throwing a bitch fit - what I'm doing is questioning his judgement.
I've been worried about him: from the Donnie McClurkin problem, to his reversal on FISA I have questioned his decision making. He seems intent on pandering to the right and religious conservatives.
One of the first major choices a presidential nominee makes is who will be on the ticket with him. As far I can see , he blew it. Not only in who he chose but in the manner he announced it. It makes me question exactly what kind of a president he will be.

Well, I for one am a sucker for Joe....and thought he was probably the right choice. Yes he had a big mouth..he generally says the right thing in the wrong way and that's what makes him him a great choice. He is humble and down earth human and unaffected by the silliness of politics and is there to do the work of politics.
Richardson would have been great -- but from what I have heard he has women problems that threaten to break loose at any time. It's a shame when men can't behave themselves.

1) A McCain ad on TV showing Biden saying Obama isn't ready to be president.
2) Text messagers around the U.S. all being uniformly pissed that they were duped by the Obama campaign.
3) Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE on TV being underwhelmed by his choice. Oh... except Obama's senior campaign manager. He likes the choice.
And I'm thinking he just lost the White House.
What a weak, unfortunate move, in a time when we didn't need another weak, unfortunate move.
