In this SPOILER-packed home video, two young boys express their extreme displeasure at the denouement of Disney's The Odd Life of Timothy Green supposedly the "feel good movie of the season."

Posted: 8/20/12 at 8:08pmAny moral high ground the parents might have had was negated by them filming the kids afterward.

JESUS CHRIST, those kids are overreacting.
This reminds me of Robin Williams movie JACK, which was advertised as this hilarious comedy when in reality it was the most depressing film of 1996.

Posted: 8/20/12 at 8:51pmReally disturbing and annoying. The parents recording that is terrible. Also, I remember crying over movies in the past like Free Willy and Andre, but never had I acted the way those children were.

Something tells me that those children are not super popular at school. That was just beyond ridiculous.
And I can't tell what angle the parents are playing by posting it. The description on the Youtube page sounds as if they are a little peeved, but their reactions that you can hear during the video sounds like they are far more amused by what's going on, and even kind of egging it on.

Posted: 8/20/12 at 9:44pmHell, how about just any other classic children's movie, like Bambi, or E.T., or The Lion King, or Marley and Me, or Old Yeller?

Posted: 8/20/12 at 9:48pmNo. It has to be a holocaust drama. That or SCHINDLER'S LIST. Ok, orr STEPMOM. Christ, I'm starting to cry just thinking about the ending of that one.

STEPMOM!
The Fox and the Hound made me cry when I was a kid. It was so poignant.

Those parents are terrible.
Dumbo, E.T., and The Iron Giant were my go-to tear-jerker childhood films. The Great Mouse Detective and Pinocchio were one of the more disturbing films I ever saw, or so I thought. Then my parents let me watch The Shining at age 7.
And The Fox & The Hound film is so depressing.

Stepmom made my dad cry. But, he wasn't acting like a fool when we got in the car after it.
Recently, I watched Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey, and for some reason the ending of that makes me more sad now then when I saw it as a kid.
I told my mom about this video, and she was telling me the kids were probably faking if their parents were taping them. She could be right. Who knows.

I remember crying after seeing Hocus Pocus as a kid. I was so upset when Bette Midler turned to stone and exploded. I loved the Sanderson sisters.

And let me tell you - I saw STEPMOM on Christmas day 1998 at the now deceased movie theater on 44th (I believe) and Broadway and sobbed so uncontrollably the Japanese tourists next to me offered me a handkerchief which I still have to this day.

I love The Family Stone now (one of my three favorite Christmas movies), but I hated it after I first saw it.
Had my popcorn. Ready to enjoy a light comedy about clashing personalities with some physical humor. Completely caught off guard.

Memories of The Iron Giant makes me cry just unttering the phrase "Superman!"
ET and Shindler's List just makes me annoyed at Spielberg's manipulative schmaltz!

Couldn't even wait til then, Jordan. Damn that Luke Wilson and his crying to his dad.
I saw this interview Keira and James did about Atonement, where she said that the planned but much maligned original ending was to have Robbie and Cecilia smile and wave at Briony in their ghostly form. That would have been horrible, which Keira agrees with.
