Meg Hutchinson's "Gatekeeper"
"Should I Leave" by a friend of mine from her debut album This Part of Town
"How Could I Ever Know" from The Secret Garden. Not so much from the recording, but every time I've seen it onstage the song just moves me beyond words.
"I Will Wait for You" by Connie Francis.

I still cry every time I hear "I Will Wait for You because of this scene from Futurama.

Jordan, I HATE that commercial because it just makes me want to run out and adopt every shelter animal that is out there. I know that's partially the point of it, but I just end up feeling guilty that I can't do so.

"This Is The Sea" by The Waterboys
"Hurt" by NIN and the Johnny Cash cover, both are powerful in their own way
"Brain Damage/Eclipse" by Pink Floyd
"Tears in Heaven" Eric Clapton
"Down In A Hole" Alice In Chains
"Broadway" and "Sean Flynn" The Clash
"I Will Remember You" by Sarah MacLachlan- yeah I know, total cheese
"A Day In The Life" by The Beatles
"Maps" Yeah Yeah Yeahs
"Jolene" by Dolly Parton and The White Stripes cover
Endless list of Broadway showtunes but I do get misty-eyed for some reason during "Die! Vampires! Die!" from [title of show] every single time.

I hate the ASPCA commercial with Sarah McLachlan for the same reason. Actually, all those commercials are sad.
Oddly, I now tear up a bit sometimes when I listen "I Am the One" from Next to Normal.

silent night. a friend of mine passed away a little over a year and a half ago... he died a few days after christmas and when his family knew he was leaving them, his grandmother started singing that song to him. it was also played at his funeral.

"My brother plays a drag queen... and I'm surprised he looks as good as he does in drag." - Adam Rapp

"Yeah Abba. All the filthy crap you spew out there on those boards. I for one, am equally shocked. :-P" - AnnaK

Oh W-waiter -- don't get me started about Laurie B.
Check out her "Sail Away" and "If We Only Have Love"
P.S. I am still mourning her passing.

This is a live recording, while I'm more familiar with her studio version on the album "Killing Me Softly", but this is Roberta Flack singing Janis Ian's "Jesse".

I had a friend who used to sing "Only Hope" from friggin' A Walk to Remember. She passed away 3 years ago and whenever I hear that song I get emotional.
"Time to Say Goodbye" and "Love Changes Everything" were my grandmother's favorite songs. She passed in September and I will not listen to those.
"No One is Alone" tears me up. Particularly the revival recording when Laura Benanti sings the very last "alone." SO gorgeous!
"Move On" from Sunday in the Park With George
And I full on walk out of the room when that damn ASPCA commercial plays. It KILLS me!
