I'm a little slow today. I couldn't find a post by JoeyJoe that mentioned he worked at Target. Then it dawned on me what Sueleen meant. I definitely got a laugh out of that one.

Star Jones is as much an underdog as President Bush.

And you are right, it is not Star's fault that we gays can't get hitched. She is helping the problem by marrying at least one of us off.

Underdog is not a word I thought I would ever hear assocaited with Star. She has become rich and famous without having an ounce of talent or skill. It's all been based solely on her luck in gettng The View gig and pushing her obnoxious self into every publicity generating occasion she could find.

An underdog is usually someone who has to battle all the odds to get somewhere. I hardley think that a woman who lives ina luxurious penthouse suit, has millions in the bank and is on the cover of countless magazines could be considered and underdog by any stretch of the imagination.

damn...wish those other star threads weren't so long. There was a gossip article about Al's bachelor party. How they all gave up their clothes, put on a bathrobe (clothes in plastic bags) and that it was very cold and uncomfortable. Once the strippers showed up, half of them left.

I heard that was the only way Star would allow the party to happen. It had to be a COLD bath. Shrinkage, you know, puts a hell of a damper on orgies.

Here is the story again:

NAYSAYERS abound, but we'll bet Star Jones' marriage to Al Reynolds lasts at least two years. That's because Jones got Reynolds to sign a prenup stating that if the unholy alliance goes south before the two-year watermark, Reynolds gets nothing. Jones and Reynolds partied until the wee hours Sunday morning at the Waldorf after their wedding Saturday night — Reynolds' second all-nighter of the weekend. On Friday, he held his "Roman Baths"-themed bachelor party at the Time Hotel. "It was so uncomfortable," said our spy. "You had to sign a confidentiality agreement to get in and then you were sent to the penthouse, where they made you get naked." All clothes were put into plastic bags on the floor and the 60 men were given bathrobes to put on. "We sat basically naked in a freezing room for a couple of hours," says an attendee. "There were only two bars and they were sponsored by Hypnotiq, Remy and some awful beer. At 11:50 p.m., 10 topless girls came out. They were butt-ugly except for two of them who simulated lesbian sex on the bed. Ten people left immediately — it was very uncomfortable." Jones' rep declined comment.
