WE survived the wedding — next might come Star "Bridezilla" Jones's baby. The large and in-charge star of "The View" — who has never publicly admitted she had stomach-stapling surgery — has been losing the lard to improve her chances of conceiving with new hubby Al Reynolds. "Everyone assumed Star was dieting to become the perfect bride," an insider tells InTouch Weekly. "While that was a factor, she really wants a baby and knows her chances will improve with every pound lost." Jones' weight loss is for health reasons, said spokeswoman Jennifer Plante: "She's losing weight because she wants to be as healthy as she can be."

holy sh*t. this is all so sad.... i mean if asking for sponsors to your own wedding wasn't bad enough! and the camera ordeal - what was joy going to do? sell them to the enquirer? get a grip! the fact that you are noticing that people switched seats or brought a camera is so pathetic. i hope on my lucky day i'll just be out there having a blast, and everyone else will be doing the same. if i'm having such a terrible time that i notice a place card or two has gone astray ... well god help me! oh star .... what a classy gal!

There is a photo spread in People magazine with Star's wedding. My favorite one was of good old Donald Trump whispering into the ear of his fiance. I'm sure he was telling her how much bigger their wedding will be. And televised on a NBC featuring never before seen boardroom scenes! Why are people so starved for attention? It is so pathetic. And a little bit amusing.

I HAD to revive this thead just to pass along this information. Apparently, I signed up on Star and Al's website and just received this joyous announcement:

On November 13, 2004, the one year anniversary of the day we met, we became

Well, judging from today's Daily News, it did not take long for Al to step out with "the boys"

Al Reynolds stepped out last week without his new bride, Star Jones. The Wall Streeter arrived at the new downtown hotspot Aer dressed in a tux and in the company of three male friends. Spies say he had some trouble getting by the doorman until someone finally recognized him ...
