Starbucks

Anyone a regular at Starbucks? What's your usual order? I just started working at one, and it's amusing to see that people do indeed order as many drinks with five qualifications as you think they do. I can assure you that we hate making the green tea frappuccino as much as you think we do. Starbucks

Grande Toffee Nut Latte
Grande Caramel Machiatto with extra caramel

Those are probably my favorites re: Starbucks

Yes, I'm a regular-every night on the way to work. I'm a simple orderer, though- winter-tall half caf. summer-iced tall half caf. However, I doctor it up at the milk counter!

My winter drink is a White Chocolate Mocha and my summer drink is a Mocha Frappaccino with whipped cream.

I suppose this isn't exactly a factor in NY, but it's amazing to see how many people go through the drive thru. You're getting a drink with almost one thousand calories -- you can get out of your damn car!

I go through the drive thru. But everytime I go to Starbucks around 9 or 10 pm, I see at least 2 people I know.

Well, I was being slightly tongue-in-cheek, but it really is a bit strange to see how many people go through drive thru. I'd say about 75% of sales at our store are drive thru sales. It makes conversation between co-workers difficult, as everyone but me (the token newbie) is always wearing a headset.

Any input regarding the banana frappacino? Is it worth trying?

Haven't tried it, but the Green Tea and Blackberry is quite tasty.

Boy do I love those frappucinos! But I'll only treat myself to one about once a month-maybe the caramel or the mocha.

My standard order is a tall Americano with room.

A tall caramel frappacino is my comfort drink.

I'm moving to an apartment that has a Starbucks across the street. Don't think it didn't influence our decision to take the place....

The caramel frappucino is amazing. However, my usual drink, strangely enough, is a venti iced coffee with milk and a few shots of whatever syrup I feel like trying that day.

Winter: white chocolate mocha, no whip, 2% milk.
Summer: The aboved iced, or a light mocha frappuchino with whip (insane I know...I just got a reduced calorie drink and added like 200 calories on top of it).

Oh how I miss the chocolate malt frap and tazo berry. I don't mind the chai with soy...but too much of it is nauseating.

The green tea frap seems to change every year, there's blackberry in it this year. o_0 I remember trying it once, and well I was ready to chuck it out before one of my girlfriends took it off of me.

I usually order a Tall Italiano in a dark room.

Siamese, they told me at "my" Starbucks that whipped cream and syrup are free. You can request them on any drink at no extra cost. Is that true as far as you know?

Jane, whipped cream is indeed free, but we charge per shot of syrup at our Starbucks. I think it's thirty cents per shot, although I'm not entirely sure.
