I'll be in London mid-December, and would appreciate suggestions. I've booked The Play That Goes Wrong, The Children by Lucy Kirkwood at the Royal Court, and Once in a Lifetime at the Young Vic. Am thinking of the RSC transfer of Much Ado. Would love it if Groundhog Day transfers (seems like it's not coming to NYC). This House? Cinderella at the Palladium for some panto? My tastes are catholic, as you see. Anyone know what will be at the Menier Chocolate Factory in December? Al suggestions appreciated.
Bump. Seems like the only show on people's lips is HP, and I certainly won't get tickets to that. So what other plays/musicals should I check out in London that I can't see in New York.
I'll be visiting in December as well, and it'll be my first time in London.
So far I have tickets to Lazarus, (and these aren't really West End Shows but) The Nutcracker at the Royal Opera House, and The Red Shoes at Saddler's Wells. Gotta get my ballet fix.
I'm also waiting for tickets to go on sale for the Ivo van Hove directed Hedda Gabler with Ruth Wilson at the National Theatre.
Those would be my suggestions. I still have a few slots open myself, so I'd be appreciated with any other suggestions as well.
