Survivor: South Pacific (With new twists on Redemption Island)

Cochran did make the best move for himself at the time of the merge and it did buy him some time.

I disagree. He was in no danger to get evicted at the time of the merge, on the contrary. The best move perhaps would have been to keep that idol or let the strongest tribe members go at each other. You all might be annoyed by the bullying, but this only shows he truly was the weakest both physically and mentally (so naive after all); that must have been frustrating to no end.

In the end, this is Boston Rob all over again. I can't believe that a tribe can let someone be the manipulator to the very end, just to win it all - do they know there is only one winner?

All this God's Will stuff is EXCRUCIATING to watch. If God and Jesus are SO FOCUSED on the Survivor contestants every day, it's no wonder this world is so messed up. How about praying for God to pay attention to the big stuff and not stuffing your bank account with a million dollars by lying and manipulation? I mean, if you're such a devout Christian and all.

That episode was just gross.

Oh, this show!

While I also cannot stand the crazy Jesus talk, at least last nights episode featured how hypocritical it all is. That Brandon is one effed up kid.

Coach might win just for having the balls to say that out loud to Brandon. I hope Sophie wins. Her expressions during tribal made the whole thing worth watching in the end. Even Dawn looked incredulous. And she's Mormon!

I have to say, I almost felt a little bit sorry for Brandon. Clearly, he's an idiot and made an idiot move, but the way Coach manipulated him with religion and watched Brandon eat it all up was really unsettling to watch. And the whole "bully" excuse that came out of nowhere. That was nuts. Coach was fishing for excuses to vote out Brandon and in a way that Brandon may forgive by pretending Brandon was exhibiting some sort of horrible behavior at a time he clearly didn't do anything wrong.

I really want Coach to lose, but if he wins, it is because his tribe handed it to him early in the game. And I don't get why Albert is supposed to be all renegade and crazy when he's the only one who has a strategy other than "whatever Coach says".

How sad was it when Edna went home? I really thought she might pull through. Ugh. More Ozzy. More Coach. I almost wish Russell were back.

YES! Edna looked fantastic. I really hope she summons the voice of Sandra if Coach makes it to the finale and reminds people that pretty much all of them were voted out because of Coach and he LOSES. Too bad Edna fell for his crap like the others.

The fear that Coach would win, which apparently is a very real possibility, was one of the key things that convinced me to part ways with this season. So is Survivor from now on going to be bringing back these ersatz favorites and stacking the game with a mix of weak players and the insane to ensure that the favorites can win on their fourth or fifth try and the zanies supply us with new "favorites" for future seasons? Sounds like the Probst way!

This episode was just crazy. There really is something wrong with Brandon. Also, my concern is that last week Coach made a promise to Ozzy as a Christian man that he would take him to the final three. The jury mainly consists of Savii members and they may all vote for Ozzy. I don't want to see Ozzy win after learning he was a porn star.

Yes, final three: Albert, Sophie, Coach.

I'm really torn here. I still want to believe it is all rigged and scripted. After 34567 seasons, how can real players truly act so dumb? Did they get the memo that only one person wins this thing?
