David Schwimmer saw a clip with him in it last night where he walks out the door and says the SUV is gone, got the biggest laugh ( saw it before the movies last night AMC ) I mean what was that, surprise, a forced reading, deadpan or just an awful actor!

I feel like I have never watched another human smoke as much as I have seen Sarah Paulson smoke in various roles in the last ten years. I'm going to miss her when she's gone.

Thoroughly enjoying this. I think Cuba is doing well in the role. The only person that's way off is Schwimmer. And the Kardashian's story line is pointless. Hopefully that's all we see of them. Not sure how season 2's Hurricane Katrina story line will work out though.

Schwimmer doesn't really bother me (Friends for life!), but I think you're dreaming if you don't think there's gonna be something with the Kardashian kids every week.

Apparently they will use the fame and exposure from the trial to hypothesize why the Kardashian kids went that route in their later lives. We'll see how that plays out during the series.
I'm liking the show overall, but found the second episode to drag a bit, in contrast to the high speed chase it was depicting. I also found it interesting to google what was accurate and not afterwards.

Tag, the white-Bronco chase was famously referred to as the "slow-speed chase" here in Southern California. The escort had to keep the speed down because negotiations were ongoing and they were clearing the freeway ahead of it. It was more a procession than a chase.
How many episodes are there supposed to be? They devoted 2 hours to the "chase", almost as if they were presenting it in real time.
But it's nice we all learned to spell "Kardashian". I'm sure that's what people had in mind back in the 1950s when they talked about the medium of television and its "educational" potential.

They really only devoted one hour to the chase.
But it felt like two.

It seems to me that much of the first episode was devoted to the event as well. I guess I'm thinking of the entire time from when Simpson was first found to be missing until he got to Rockingham as the "chase", even though law enforcement didn't know where he was for the first few hours.
Anyhow, that's how I got to two hours: counting two episodes. I would have expected the chase to wrap up by the end of the first episode.
They could have spent some of that air time on Ms. Simpson's funeral, which by all accounts was a drama in itself.

I believe it is a 10 part miniseries but of varying lengths (ie. the premiere was longer than the second episode).

At the rate they're going, that won't even cover Mark Furman's testimony.

I was not surprised that they devoted an entire episode to the chase given that America was glued to their TV screens when it was all happening. I am glad however that we will be moving on next week. The chase was much more dramatic in real life.

Travolta gets high praise from this side of the pond ...

On tonight's episode I realize how much effort is put into making sure there is ALWAYS a shadow beneath Travolta's jaw, whether or not there is any logical light source in the scene causing it. It looks like they spent big bucks to computer enhance the shadowing. It's funny in scenes where Travolta is sitting with Nathan Lane, who has his full face and double chin with no sign of a shadow and right next to him is Johnny whose face is benefitting (in his mind only) from some sort of break in the laws of physics.
And also, the assorted accents he does from scene to scene are quite confusing.

yeah, last night's episode was terrific outside of Travolta's on & off accents. Courtney B. Vance & Sarah Paulson are the true highlights of this miniseries.

Yea, Vance shows how well theatrical can work on television, while Travolta doesn't have the skill for that.

Why is John Travolta speaking like Dr. Evil in the role? Bob Shapiro doesn't sound like that.

Talk about your closed-fist compliments to Mr Travolta at the article linked above:
He is physically grotesque, with the bloated carcass of a beached whale, and his head seems to have been so remodelled that it slopes back, like an Easter Island statue.

Travolta came across a little better in the third episode I think in part due to less posing.

Bump
I think the episode last night was the best of the bunch. It was more of an ensemble piece and there was a lot of conflict between different characters, I loved Connie Britten and I giggled through everything she was doing. .She very carefully did not cross the line of parody.
