There are only 3 movies that have ever made me cry in public:
1. Deepa Mehta's 'Water'. My friend and I were snotty messes.
2. 'Iris'. Again, a snotty mess
3. 'Murial's Wedding'. The part when she walks down the aisle at her wedding, right past her poor mother who has come with a big gift, and her mother looks just absolutely heartbroken. Damn. Breaks me every time.
And 'Requiem for a Dream' is pretty bad too, although it didn't make me cry. But I do remember calling up my mom after seeing it.

"Somewhere in Time (the most I have ever cried in a movie)"
Cripes, yeah! I haven't watched this one in a while (not since Christopher Reeve passed away), but every time I have watched it, I am a basket case at the end.
Come to think of it, I was that way at the end of THE NOTEBOOK as well.

Are you guys trying to tell me that I'm the only homo here who cried during "Brokeback Mountain"? I saw in the theater at least four times and I cried every time.
I do believe that I cried during that Ann Margaret movie. (Which, as it did a LOT of people, gave me respect for her as an actress.)
I can't tell you how many other films that I've cried at. "Dark Victory" when Bette Davis sends George Brent off and goes upstairs to die.
I remember, ages ago, my sister and I were watching a Humphey Bogart movie called "Passage to Marseilles" and he dies at the end and my sister and I were in tears. Well the telephone rings and my mother answers it and tells us that our uncle has just died. But the news didn't really affect my sister and I because we were crying over Humphrey Bogart's death.
I remember seeing "Beaches" with my sister, who cries at auto shows and who cried at "Beaches" and who muttered to me while she was crying, "I feel so manipulated by this movie."

I was a mess at the end of BROKEBACK. I cried so hard.

E.T.--from the moment he reaches toward the children's mother because he saw her care for the kids until the very end I am a complete wreck.
Terms of Endearment--from the scene Debra Winger saying goodbye to her sons to the end, I am a puddle.
"Out of Africa"--Meryl waiting for Robert's plane.
Same for "Other Side of the Mountain"--Marilyn Hassett waiting for Beau Bridges' plane.
"Life is Beautiful"--such a fabulous film. Laughs and Tears.
And countless others. I hate crying at movies so I try to do it quietly.
First movie that made me cry: "Mary Poppins"--I hated that she was leaving the Banks family at the end.

I didn't even think of Iris, but that was pretty sad. I just revisited that the other day.
That scene during Terms of Endearment throughout the end make me cry every time. Especially when Jack Nicholson approaches Debra Winger's older son at the funeral reception - I am bawling

Life As A House. I cry just thinking about it.
This isn't a movie, but I cried the last episode of Boy Meets World.
