Not sure why, but there was a show about them revamping the pageant a couple of years ago which had all the girls competing against each other for I forget what. I guess it was just to see who was the most ready for the pageant.

It was held in high esteem back when it came from the Boardwalk in Atlantic City, NJ.
Boy that Viveca Fox is bright-she wants Miss America to give a positive and a positive impression.
