Now Chick-Fil-A supporters have dragged WENDY'S into this PR disaster. Even though it was a Wendy's franchise that supported Chick-Fil-A I would think the Corporation WENDY'S could take action against this franchise owner. I'm sure their is a contract that they have to run this by Corporate affairs before doing something like this. WENDY'S Image is now in question all because of this ONE FRANCHISE OWNER. Wendy's Shareholders I would think could really make this one owner's life a living hell.

The one comment I keep seeing is that "the gay activists went too far this time and are going to regret it." What, pray tell, do the poultry-gobbling masses intend to do to ruin my day? Breathe honey mustard breath on me? If they feel some sort of righteous pride by waiting in line for an hour just to eat a $5 chicken sandwich, bully for them.

Wow, I guess I really need to stop underestimating the power of the religious right in the US. It really is a different culture than up here--until I saw those CNN photos, I kinda (foolishly) expected this to turn into a non event for people "supporting" the poor old franchise. 3 hour lines to make a "statement" and buy one of their sandwiches? Ugh. How completely depressing.
