How awful! We may need to call a special prayer service for our High Priestess!
It's ok! Our pope is a wonderful human being who will be sending me new copies!
I really need some cash...it's time to bite the bullet, pay the outrageous export fees, and complete my Warlow collection.
A resounding HELL YES to the completing the collection. Amen!
A big HUZZAH is in order!!! I am only two CD's away from having a complete collection -- I am missing "The Snow Goose" and "Tenor and Baritone"...and of course anything new and unreleased.
Hey, guess what?!?! I just found out that Warlow (don't know if it is ACTUALLY him or not) has a myspace account where you can put some of his music on your personal space. Here is the link:
Give Me Some Warlow
For those of you who have not heard him sing --go to the site Spidey just posted and listen to the selections
That last note on "Unexpected Song" is SEVERE EARGASM. I think that note is my favorite thing I have heard from him. **faints**
Yes..its truly remarkable...other notable Warlow eargasms (in no particular order):
1) "If I Loved You" : towards the end "..never, never to KNOW!"
2) The final few notes of "Who Can I Turn To"
3) The ending of "Beauty School Dropout"
4) The arpeggiated-improvised ending to "I Am a Pirate King"
5) The 30 second held note to end "This is the Moment"
6) Anthony and Marina Prior doing "Where in the World/How Could I Ever Know" (the whole sequence is one long eargasm!)
7) The last refrain of "Lily's Eyes" with Phillip Quast
8. The climax of Anthony's rendition of "O Holy Night"
9) The slide on the last note of "I've Got a Crush on You" where Anthony shows off his low range
Any other ones I left out? I ask the congregation of the church to respond with your additions or to comment on the ones already mentioned. I know I have left some out!
You've got most of my basic eargasams, Enjy.
I have to add the note that made me love this man: "Let others RISE to take our place until the earth is FREE!!!!" from Les Miserables. I'd die on a barricade with that voice, no questions asked.
So, you would die on the barricade just to hear Warlow sing in your ear. May Warlow bless you and your future children . . . Amen!
Yes, I surely would. Well, and I believe in freedom. But Warlow's Enjolras is the only one that has ever evoked those strong feelings in loyalty in me. He had Hugo's characterization down COLD. Even if he did wear a fugly wig
Somewhere beyond the barricade is there a world YOU long to see?
Just say NO!!! to page two!
Warlow Song of the Day: Anthem
At first I thought this song was dull, but over the years it has continued to grow on me. That last section after the instrumental break? Sheer genius! My land's only borders lie around Mr. Warlow's heart, 'nuff said
Page two AGAIN?!?!?!
BUMP!!!!
BUMP!!!!!!!!!!

Hahahahahahahahahahaha
AHHH!!! I have been away too long. "Anthem" is one of my favorite songs by him. Actually, I think it is number 2, next to "Unexpected Song." When he sings it, you can hear such power and feeling in his voice.
If I have to bump the thread 4 times today, I might not be the happiest of campers. Where is your Warlow Love?!?
Warlow Song of the Day: Where in the World
I love the INTENSITY behind this song! It's so delightfuly screamy, just like his work in J&H. I don't care if it's only a minute and a half long--it's good enough to have its own day!
We need to go out in the bww.com neighborhood and convert some folks. And, by the way I LURVE that song.
Will we be Warlow's Witnesses?
Yes, instead of tracks we will hand out Warlow cd singles.
As long as you wear a tie and ride a bike
Ok guys I am back (have been out of town the past two days visiting friends)...Kitz, I applaud you for being so dedicated to your faith that you wouldn't allow Anthony to be disrepected by falling to page two! I come before you to ask for repentance for being gone and forcing Kitz into that horrible predicament. However, while on my trip I played some of my Warlow CD's for my friends and may have made some converts -- so maybe I made my trip actually as a missionary for the Church of Warlow!
I've always enjoyed Aunt Jemima's witnesses.
Love it, Enjy!
We should add the spot in "Anthem" right after the orchestral interlude where Anthony sings "How can I leave her WHERE (ahh...the high G) would I start? " through the ending to our list of eargasms.
Also, Anthony's "Where in the World" is amazing. He has such intensity and you can feel the agony flowing from Archie in his voice. I used to wonder what this song would be like if it was expanded into a full-fledged number instead of the minute and a half lead-in in "How Could I Ever Know" (albeit as amazing as it already is).
