Warlow Song of the Day: The World Has Gone Insane
It's so bizarre and the lyrics are so awful. And yet...I still utterly adore it! He gets all creepy and growly and I LOVE it! No one can scream while still holding a pitch like Mr. Warlow. The man is pure emotion from the top of his head to the tips of his fingers.

I have always loved that song because of its morbid lyrics and interesting accompaniment -- and of course because of how Anthony sings it with such terror and insanity. I wonder if I would have liked it as much if someone else sang it -- probably not!

I love this song and I love the man. I think it would be fascinating to see what he would do with this role; it would certainly be against type.
Does he have the legs for Zsa Zsa? Something tells me that he probably does

Warlow Song of the Day: Desert Song (Blue Heaven)
Love it so! It goes from mystic and Arabian to fun big band swing stuff. I totally love how sexy and increadible he sounds on this song. He's a great performer, n'est-ce pas?

I like his arrangement of this song as well. I like the way he swings it with the big band sound. After hearing the song for the first time, I went out and got the sheet music to it. Alas, I was disappointed because when I sat down to play it I realized it was nothing like Anthony's version and it was all in straight time. This is also another one of Anthony's songs that ends with him holding a note for an ungodly amount of time! Praises be unto Anthony!
Once again a very good choice for AWSotD, Kitzy!

Warlow Song of the Day: Unexpected Song
Another Warlow song that I've only really gotten into lately. It's so beautiful and tranquil with one HELL of a money note at the end. If he actually sang this song TO me, I would probably die. And I'm not even exagerating.

The Warlow Song of the Day (in the absence of our high priestess) for the last 15 minutes of today is:
"On the Boards"
Anthony shows off his comic side by singing in a hilarious character voice a song about the trials and tribulations of a life on the stage. He also does a great imitation of a baby crying during the song. Once again it goes to show how great a talent Anthony is by the way he can make us laugh one minute and then cry the next. Also, he is the only person I know, other than the late Anthony Newley himself, who had the guts to sing a song from Can Hieronymus Merkin Ever Forget Mercy Humppe and Find True Happiness?.
