That's why they've been the past two songs of the day, silly!
Bump
Thank you my son, for going out into the provinces and sharing the vocal power that is Warlow. You will not go unrewarded. In the name of the Voice, the Talent, and the Warlow . . . Amen!
Hello to my Brothers and Sisters in Warlow. Glad to see y'all are keepin' the faith!
Warlow Song of the Day: Bui Doi
I love this song and I love Warlow's rendition of it. Yet another sign of how versatile his voice can be--I love his tone change so he can sound "American." Have I mentioned how much I love this man?
Another great choice for song of the day. Speaking of how Anthony can change his tone to sound American, I also love it when he tries to sound distinctively un-American is songs like "On the Boards" and "Nothing Can Stop Me Now".
Seriously, people, can Anthony Warlow do any wrong?
No, he can't. And I've already picked out tomorrow's song of the day (which is something I NEVER do in advance)!
Didn't think so.
I need to expand my Warlow song collection...
Kitz I am looking forward to hearing what tomorrow's A.W.S.O.T.D. is! Your dedication to the church is amazing and you shall be commended for your efforts.
I am working on storing up my treasures in Warlow Heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy and where theives do not break in and steal.
For where my Warlow treasure is, there my heart shall be also
Kitz--NICE!
It's just the bible. Thank God
I know, but I just love how you incorporated it into usage with Warlow cds.
Well, I'm a clever girl. What can I say?
And Warlow lifts his head to the heavens and delcares in a might voice . . . BUMP!!
Good Morning, dear Warlow Postulants.
Warlow Song of the Day: The Girl from Ipanema
Probably one of my favorites from "Face the Music." It's so mellow and sweet--I utterly love it. This is part of the reason why this is among my collection of Hot Tub CDs. Makes you feel like you're on a tranquil beach with tropical breezes blowing. More proof of Warlow's versitility--he doesn't have to belt the hell out of a song to make it memorable.
One of his most vocally subdued songs, and I freakin' love it. Great choice, Kitz.
Once again, very inspired choice for AWSOTD Kitzy!
I haven't even been following this thread and I still felt the need to bump it back to the first page. Such is the power of the Warlow.
Welcome to the church my son/daughter. You are more than welcome to join us in the discussions, what little of them there are.
Anthony's Loosing My Mind is currently making me cry just a little bit.
Feel the power flow through you.
Wow, I am late posting today! I just finished watching All That Jazz for the first time, and my mind is a bit overwhelmed at the moment. Hence, I'm chosing a simple song for WSotD.
Warlow Song of the Day: L.O.V.E.
A great song and a beautiful rendition. I love how enthusiastic Mr. Warlow is. He gives him self fully to whatever song he's singing and is not afraid to maniuplate his voice to make it match. He is versatility personified.
As always a very inspired choice for AWSOTD.
Anthony Warlow legend of the day:
At an audition very early in his career, he wanted to try out for the role of Don Quixote/Cervantes in a production of Man of La Mancha. He was told he was too young for the role so he need not even try. However, being the savvy person he is, Anthony asked if he could audition while standing behind a screen (or wall or some other type of partition). This way they could only judge him on his voice and not on his age. After blowing them away with his voice he was given the part! (I guess they just made sure they had a great make-up artist!)
Has anyone else in the Church of Warlow congregation heard this story? I can't remember where I read it at...
I love it! And having heard his rendition of "The Impossible Dream," I'm sure that he did a wonderful job
Warlow Song of the Day: Skylark
Keeping with my current trend of mellow Warlow songs. This one took a long time to grow on me, but I finally fell in love with it's beautiful simplicity. I promise I'll return to the big show stopping numbers tomorrow. I tend to pick these songs by just sitting and thinking of Warlow; which ever song pops in my head first wins SotD mention.
