THe sad thing is that I have storeis for two out of three of those words.
Armpits: BEfore we were dating, we were on a school trip to NYC. We were on the elevator up to the top of the Empire STate Building and the elevator is full, and silent. All out of the blue, Chris goes, "My deodorant is doing nothing for me right now."
I don't think I need to add anything else to that.
ANd for greasy hair:
Shortly after we started dating, we were in the car or something like that and he leaned against the window and when he moved his head away, there was a little glob of great on the window pane.
That was fun.

I think a date that ends with a little glob of great isn't a horror story.

"Shortly after we started dating, we were in the car or something like that..."
You were in the car or something like that? Well, what else might you have been in? A space capsule?

Posted: 8/15/06 at 5:20pmIf you've loathed him since shortly after you started dating, I can't help but wonder why you dated him for two or three years...

It sounds like you are both lucky to be out of that relationship. You because you loathed him so much yet had to pretend to love him because, apparently for you, having a bopyfriend, even one you don't like, is better than having none at all.
That must have been stressful for you.
He is lucky because he had a girlfriend who can't stop tearing him apart behind his back and who secretly disliked him.
Be glad you're rid of one another.

Posted: 8/15/06 at 9:14pmHonestly, it's not that I disliked him. There were times when I even loved him because he was, at times, a very smart, and funny, and sweet person, and I tried to overlook his faults for as long as I could. It's just harder now that we're not together and I'm seeing what was really there.

I can't quite come to the conclusion that riding on a bus and leaving a mark on the window after leaning against it counts as a "dating horror story."
On the other hand, I assume he's better off now.

I can also contribute Anthony, a horny, "hairy" young Eye-talian that I locked in the trunk of his sports car in 1972 as a result of "date gone bad", if any one's interested.
Corine dear, I just don't know why you do this to yourself...over and over again. You just keep feeding the sharks, girl.

Oh, PB, don't discourage her. Some day her Price er...I mean Prince will come. A girl has to have hope...Just because she has had a few crappy dates with a couple of sucky men doesn't mean that she should stop trying.
